    Awesome, man! How did I not know this was out already? lol Anyways, the fight was great. I enjoyed the gun action and was shocked when the building came down. I'm doing a similar thing with the suit change in my Deathstroke movie, but different. Good job here overall.

      THANKS MAN! I always look forward to your reaction and was wondering if you had missed the video! Haha. It must have gotten buried in your Facebook feed somewhere, but I'm glad you finally found it! Glad you enjoyed it! I really wanted to pull out all the stops for this one and make it as good as it could be! The environment destruction was hands down my favorite stuff to do and I'm glad it came as a shock! I'm excited for your Deathstroke movie! Hopefully it doesn't take two years to make like this video did. Haha. Thanks for watching!

    This fight was cool. I liked how it showed deathstroke upgrade his armor to the situation. I also liked how the music reflected how chaotic the fight got when Carnage took over. Shit got crazy lol. The defendera helping DS? This should be good!

      Thanks man! I'm glad you finally got to see it! I was really happy with the music in this one too, especially after it being subpar in previous stopmotions, it felt good to have some solid music for once! Haha. While I didn't originally intend to make a part two, a lot of people have been asking for one and I will be sure to get to it! Haha. It won't be anytime soon as I have other projects I intend to complete, but it is on my list! Thanks again! Glad you enjoyed! Get ready for more in the near future!

    This was fantastic! I really enjoyed the choreography. Although the lighting seemed inconsistent at some points. Also the camera didn't seem to focus during some parts. As always you can always take more pictures, but you're improving very quickly! Good job Robbie.

      Thanks for the analysis, Brad. I was actually a little nervous uploading it because I felt like the video wasn't all that good, but I'm glad you found things to enjoy about it! And yeah, the lighting was awful and I could never get it right. I think that's something I've fixed a bit in some of my other projects I'm working on. And the camera certainly didn't want to cooperate either! Haha. And yeah, I think I took too few pictures near the end and the action moved too quickly for my taste. Thank you though! Be ready for more coming soon!

    Great one! Love how the characters upgrade through newer figure bodies to come back even stronger in the fight. That Diamond Select Carnage is a true beast! Carnage being my favorite symbiote, can't wait to see how he fares in the next encounter.

      @@Khaile826 hahahaha yeah. I never planned on continuing this story past this video, but over the years people have asked for a part 2! I already showed the outcome as an Easter egg in my "Elektra vs Bloodrayne" video in some of the photographs of Elektra that Rayne reviews before starting her mission. Still, I hear people asking for more Carnage! There is currently some momentum on continuing this project and potentially collaborating with some other creators. Stay tuned!
      Otherwise yeah I made this video during a time when I had no scripts, I would just animate and make it up as I go. I of course had an outline in my head, but nothing on paper. Sometimes, given the long production times, I would even forget the lines of dialogue I originally intended and have to intuit, interpret, and rewrite some scenes hahaha. This project was worked on across two years, I even moved houses which required me to rebuild the set. This is an all-timer for me. It's something that I just made for fun on the leftover "ruined" set from Batman vs Boba Fett. It was never supposed to take 2 years to make and become such a fan-favorite. Yet, it's the one stop motion that I actually took the thumbnail from and made a shirt for! It's been an introduction to my channel for many people because of that, and while I sometimes look back on this work with some frustration, I'm proud of how well it has stood the test of time. My favorite sequence was destroying the building on top of Carnage. I took a big risk doing it, because I could only do one take hahaha. I want to do something of that scale again sometime. Thanks for the comment and taking the time to revisit some of my older work. I know I keep saying it, but I've got a big one coming!!! Soon!!! I record with the last voice actress I need for the project in one hour!!!

      @@blandclanvideos Looking forward to it man! And yeah, pretty much all of my episodes are made up as I go. Matter of fact, I can't even remember the last time I used a script or rough draft for any of my more creative projects outside of college. Even the stories I write are just spur of the moment.
      But I'm glad to be part of the adventure man, your content is fun and inspiring. Two years! That's true dedication to the craft. I'll be checking out the others soon!

      @@Khaile826 hahaha it wasn't two years of straight work. I was still in high school so it was very on and off. I'd estimate no more than like 30-40 actual hours of work including filming and editing. I think in total around 2,000 pictures. I lost the original files so I couldn't reference without counting them individually hahaha
      As far as scripts go, every video currently public on the channel was made with the blandclan method where I just take the two characters and contrive a reason for them to fight and just improv from there. The action is rarely planned, almost always just felt out as I film. I sometimes have bullet points I keep on my phone to reference certain moments or beats I want to hit. I've gotten better about writing down my dialogue as I film it so I don't forget what the characters say hahaha. But as I've gotten older and my ideas for videos have gone exponential and my videos themselves have become more dialogue heavy with overarching storylines, I've made more scripts just because it could be years before some videos get filmed hahaha. At any moment I have 6-10 projects in various stages of development, so if I dont write anything down for the "important" projects I'll forget. Hulk vs Broly part 3 has stalled a few times because I forgot a lot of what I wanted to do, so I finally have a script for that hahaha. Any "short" video (3-6 minutes) likely doesn't have a script, but anything longer than 10 minutes definitely had something put to paper to keep it organized
      I'm impressed you don't write scripts! You have so many characters to juggle, especially those OCs!!! And not to mention the massive storyline with different character arcs. Very impressive to learn that. It just goes to show how well you know your characters and how forward your story is! Perhaps that's why I admire your work as much as I do, I can see a little bit of my own style in it hahaha.

      @@blandclanvideos Thanks man, it's interesting to hear how your creative methods evolve. It is really a battle sometimes bringing these animations to life. That's what makes it so satisfying to see. I've been writing stories since I was about 6 or 7, but I didn't start making complex characters like these until I was about 16 or 17, back in 2011 when I graduated high school. Diamond Aiko was actually the first ever character I made. I even give my characters birthdates, and today, September 5th, was hers. Sometimes I would use their astrology to help shape my character's personality, I was into horoscopes when I was younger. but now I also base the characters on the personalities of people I know.
      This really helps with character development, and knowing the persona of the character drives the story. It's almost like the characters are writing the story more than I am

    • @blandclanvideos
      @blandclanvideos  28 дней назад

      @@Khaile826 wow! I love that. The characters do really drive the story forward after awhile hahaha. A lot of my "writing" is just having the character do what I think they would do next. Sometimes I need a plot point to happen so I ask how I can get my character to that point but a lot of my fighting choreography and banter is just the characters playing off each other. Given how much of a main character Red Tigress is, I'm surprised she wasn't your first! How did the transition occur in centering Tigress in your stories over Aiko? Happy belated birthday to her hahaha

      Thank you! Honestly? I filmed amd edited this in small sessions over the course of 2 years. I even moved houses halfway through filming! Fortunately I preserved the set so you can't quite tell! Cumulative time working on it was probably something like 20 or so hours total including filming, visual effects, editing, and voice acting! I'm glad you like it, this project was one that almost never saw the light of day! What was your favorite part?
