- Headed out for a nice relaxing evening of pulling some cranks for Walleyes. Had some fun watching my cranks on the Livescope and seeing the fish interact with the bait.

Livescope footage is super cool!!!! Great vid
Awsome video. You're one of my favorite "Fall Guy" Fishermen.
Trolling is hands down my favorite way to fish,...very relaxing !
Love watching em smash it on the live scope!! Gonna try tomorrow night!
It's great!
This is so awesome. Thanks for sharing. These love scopes are sweet.
Another great one. Your choice of background music on this one can't be beat!
That’s the way we do it in Idaho!!! Thanks Clayton
The LiveScope trolling cranks was something I needed in my life lol. Now I’m going to have to try it
You caught some nice walleyes ❤ Got out on the water, got to go fishing, aka catching lol, and pound some fish.. looks like a win day to me❤😊🤘🤘
Thanks for all the walleye videos...my favorite!!!
Big pike videos much better
Love they way you store that big net!!!!
Excellent!
Love trolling cranks. It pairs nicely with mapping a new area. Helps id pods of fish to go back and target pitching or jigging later too. Not always the most efficient way to fish but when you’re mapping it can still put fish in the boat.
This exactly!!
You da man Clayton. Great video
Getting close to 100k subs, lets go!
I always hold the rod while trolling, I like working the lure like you do, and it's fun to feel the strike. 😊
Try goosing the motor throttle when you see a following fish on your live sonar. Give the lure a short burst of extra speed and see if that triggers a strike.
Trolling crankbaits is fun!😊
Cheers! I was doing that, but it was spooking them a lot on this night. Probably too close to the bait with the boat.

Like everything else in fishing, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. shrugs
I like the fact that I can talk about fishing with you, Clayton, bounce around some ideas and hopefully get more fish in the boat. Thanks. Would love to share a boat with you sometime but I doubt life will ever allow that to happen.
Nice
Great content as usual can hardly wait for first ice!
This is by far my favorite video you ever made and I am less than 5 mins in! What is your leader again to your braid? What I knot or swivel?
To cool seeing the walleye react to the lures. At 14.22 in the video I see a white dot that looks like the lure dancing back and forth in the water mid screen and 9ft behind your boat.
I saw that when editing as well. It's a spider web :)
Here in general at some point
Do a night cranking video Clayton I've never fished after dark
I have a couple of one from a couple years ago. But yes. I need to do this again and it is planned :)
It's good to be spoiled! 🤣
Pretty amazing how many fish follow and how long they will follow a bait, awesome show!!
Clayton did u know donkeys are intelligent problem solvers. Yup, sounds like you. ❤✌️👍
Another good one! For me when I troll with Livescope I don't zoom as much and put my bait more near the bottom right corner. When you zoom out to 80 feet etc the picture becomes less clear.
Good idea!
spoiled donkey lol you rock!
Yup!
I have to try this down here in Pa on the Ohio. Our Fall bite should be heating up soon!! Our water temp is still 66...soon. Cheers!
Our fall bite is really just getting started I feel like too!
Pretty awesome Clayton! What mount do you use for your livescope transducer?
Awesome video as always Clayton. Did you just say LVS 62? I thought you have LVS 34. I was told LVS 62 is for very deep water like oceans..etc.
I have both yes. I use the lvs 62 for lake trout and videos like this for seeing the crank even better.
❤️🎣
Clayton good catches. Also like the barefoot Clayton.
Awesome video, love the reef runners fun to fish with, good action on them, have you tried the Beetlejuice colour version of the series ? Wonder what y'all would do without all that imaging on the new depth finders ? Ever try going old school again with just the depth & fish marker only ? Lol !Also love Elliot rods when jigging. Thanks for sharing ,GOD bless
Once you got a smart phone would you go back to a flip phone with no data? Cheers :)
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors Lol ! Have never been that spoiled, Heck I enjoy my simple Hummingbird 597ci
@@philrockh I hear ya... Anyone that doesn't know me though wouldn't know I spend money on nothing but fishing gear, I don't smoke, I hardly drink, I don't spend money on entertainment. I lead a boring life besides fishing. Fishing is my passion to which I was also lucky enough to turn it into work. Not saying you spend money in other places for fun, because I know how tough the economy is right now and the prices of groceries alone is CRAZY! I enjoy my technology :)
Loin master you are Clayton 😅😅😅
would that work with the 34 livescope as well ya think?
Yes it does work, but I find a little harder to dial it in compared to the 62
Hi Clayton what garmin unit are you running for you’re livescope, also what transducer are you running?
I am running the 8612, and usually the LVS 34, this video was with the LVS 62 though.
Thank you Clayton love the videos keep up the great work!
Clayton you are spoiled 😅😅 🍻
What is dead idle speed on that outboard Clayton? Just wondering what type of speed you were trolling at
It's in the vid...14:50
Do you lock the transducer pole so it doesn't rotate when using it for trolling?
Yes the Arclab pole I have I can lock it down really well.
@@ClaytonSchickOutdoors thanks for the reply. I'm finally making the leap to livescope.
And the time it must have taken you to edit this with the live imaging and different camera angles
Thank you
Great vids. Watched every one. Some several times. My kind of entertainment. Tell Arron to get his $#!+ together and get it back up and running. Didn't he get alot of this kind of thing started anyway? I still go back and watch those vids with Jay and others. Very entertaining.
I'm getting impatient for ice season. Still have perch to get in the meantime.
I have 8 lake trout videos to edit from late ice :)
Sneak peek? 🤣
Deep water is 25-30?????? Here in WA on the Columbia deep is 100+. I caught fish in 50-60 a week ago.
That Live scope is such a game changer. Seeing fish is nice, but watching how they react teaches you so much!
Like Clayton once said, it is just like shooting fish in a barrel! That is real sportsmanship , right?
@mikeandbrendacline1656 It may help you find fish but you still need the skills to catch them. I hope to be able to buy one next year!
The most important part of catching fish is to fish where the fish are. I am sorry but I just don’t believe using ffs is sporting. It gives the angler an unfair advantage. And yes, Clayton did actually say in one of his videos ffs was like shooting fish in a barrel. @@kenandtrishoutdoors
What lake is that?
Unnamed lake.
