  • The Jig N Minna is a classic for some early season Walleye! The plan was to crush them with soft plastics, but the fish told me otherwise. Spent a little bit of time with the Garmin Side VU as well and did some recording with the Active Captain app. I was very impressed with the image from Side VU. Can't wait to spend more time on the water with it in combination with my Livescope!! GREAT DAY!

I am so jealous. Being able to fish and feeling like you own the lake. No traffic, no crowds. I am down in SE Wisconsin and it is tough to find the tranquility and peace that you have up there. My favorite show. Thumbs up.

I hide from people for the most part and avoid the busy parts of the lake and just go look for my own fish usually :)

I run a Garmin Echomap as well. I have watched many videos on using side imaging over the years but cannot spot fish very well. I think maybe I’m going too slow when using the side scan. Maybe I need to bump speed to 2.5-3 like you said. All in all this is one of the most useful videos I have seen on the topic of Garmin side scan. Thank you!!!
