Man Isooh😊..am a builder na nimekuskiza vizuri sana .. actually as per the current building code (eurocode) allows the developer to use the locally available material provided they pass the integrity test...BRC mesh is used to increase the strength of slab concrete by absorbing the tension forces and also by holding together the concrete incase of vibrations subjected to slab from machines, earht tremors etc ..but as you mentioned if it is a rural residential house on a proper strata you may omit it but ensure good compaction of both hardcore and murram blinding.
Hapo kwa plaster yes you're right.. ensure uko na basic materials like sand ready.. then golden rule on plaster usiwahi weka fundi wengi.. for uniformity and easy supervision as well as good workmanship...
Kwa kudecide whether to use lime or filler inadepend na vitu mob like walling material, type of final finish ya ukuta, etc .but generally ukiweka nilo(grout mortar) tumia lime, lakini kama utafanya skimming na filler just do steel floating..
Otherwise you're doing good job kutusaidia buiders in educating potential developers...coz some developers haikuwangi rahisi kuelewa .. for that reason I have subscribed
