Spanking a child is not abuse when done in the proper manner, I got spanked and my parents did it with love. This was not the only tool that they used, there was no T.V for two weeks, you are in bed for the weekend after your chores. And my mother would say you don't have to go to the bathroom that often. Discipline when used properly shows children love and guidance.
