Clara he did in his recent album. actually a lot of his songs are singing he has a few rap ones like raw shit but most of his songs he sings like I got this
Yea, but he is mostly giving much more interest into rapping and when it comes to pop songs it's like he doesn't bother too much to do something interesting, his pop songs have the same english sound ... Love him anyway, but still miss this tho
I just wanna say I'm so proud of Jay. As someone who saw 2008 Jay Park develop into the free, f-boy, 2016 Jay Park, I believe his artistic independence is what pushed him to improve and accomplish so much as a musician (and later, CEO!!). SO PROUD.
He sang this song with the biggest chip on his shoulder. My friend met him like 4 years ago and he said hearing him talk about his past was like listening to a person who had vengeance to deliver. A diss track was released later that year. This man did all he could to put himself on the map, he’s a legend now, nowhere to go but up for him now.
HAPPY 10TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY ABANDONED. THIS SONG REALLY PAVED THE WAY TO JAY. FROM BEING ABADONED, TO KNOW HIS NAME AGAIN IN THE INDUSTRY, TO ALL THE WAY UP!!!! THANK YOU TO ALL THE JAYWALKERS WHO ALWAYS SUPPORT JAY SINCE DAY 1. HOPE YOU'RE DOING WELL JAY, WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU ❤️
Truuuu look at him now opened up his own erotic music genre, like not asian, more western without taboo topics n stuff... naked woman n stuff lol Greated this own empire big like never before, signed by jay z Several studios/ subsidiaries etc Look up to him
This is basically 90s/00s RnB in Korean. Jay Park being American really influenced his style of music. I don’t know many Kpop songs at the time like this to be honest.
For most, their intro to Kpop was Psy's Gangdam Style, or Girls Generation, BTS, Exo, Shinee etc.. But for me, it was this song, 7 yrs ago It's STILL 🔥🔥🔥
I used to hate how this song was always on tv back in 2011 'cos the video made it awkward when I am watching with my family lol. But now after 6 years, I came back here cos I miss this song. This is where Jay Park started off his solo career with a bang. He did a great job really.
My 18 month old cousin loves this song. Everytime i am listening to this on my phone she takes away my head phone and puts them in her ear! Cutest thing i have ever seen
I've known him for 11 years and I remember that this was the first song I heard, I started to follow him up to the present day and I always come back here to watch the video again kkkkkkk I love you Jay and I love all your songs, but the old ones have my heart
I remember when it came out and I was totally hyped, and 4 years later I´m still as hyped as ever! Forever loving this track. Jay always slays at whatever he does
When Jay Park/Jae Beom..., Has The Mix of American influence +African-American RnB+ 2PM +Other Beautiful KOREAN INFLUENCES N HIS MUSIC...,Shows What Jay Park/Jae Beom LEARNED. ITS VERY BEAUTIFUL MIX:; KOREAN ,ASIAN+AMERICAN ,STRONGER Like Guns and Best Samurai Swords with Martial Arts .
Dude it's been 7 years?? This was my JAM. The whole Korean music industry AND Jay has grown so much since this but this is still 💙 in my head for days...
Congratulations to Jay Park signing on with Jay Z's Roc Nation empire on 20-July-2017! EPIC! JayZ sees the potential to sell millions of records. And Jay Park gets the backing he needs to rise higher above the rest. English speaking fans will get more subs to the song lyrics. It's a win-win-win situation!
where did the English version go !~ where did the English version go o ooh oh oh oh~ I'm still waiting for it!! still one of my forever favorite songs 💕💕💕
Be happy, be safe, be healthy. I love you lots. Take care of yourself and no matter what's going on, I'll be here to listen to your music and remember that I miss you every day.
This isn’t even as old as many of us feel like it is and yet, because of how full of tragedy these past ten years have been, ten years seems like fifty 🥺🥺 time is relative indeed. I know it’s technically been thirteen but y’all know what I mean lol I’ll always come back to remind myself of simpler times!
I'm listening to his sexy4ever setlist, and this song hits me hard! Thinking that I was part of the fans that asks for Jay Park return, we even had flash mob event at 2pm 😅
Whew... 9 years ago. When im in the mood for throwbacks, its amazing how long it has been and yet some songs or melodies are still stuck in my head. Time flies... and precious only when its fleeting.
Wow, he's very similar to Taeyang (Dong Young-bae). By that I mean their voices, the type of music style, and even their dancing styles are similar. Now, before any Jay Park fangirls/boys jump on me, I just discovered Jay now, whereas I have known about Taeyang before. I know that there are obvious differences between the two, I just couldn't help but notice some similarities.
I'm with you on that. There are things that support your remarks. If we look at Taeyang's Weeding dress m/v it's actually quite similar to Abandoned . But yeah this Jay Park that we see here is nowhere to be found in the man he's now. Also don't worry about the fan girls or any J.P fan because I've actually never seen them taking up on anyone . I'm sure there are but so far I've not came across any of them.
Nightpanther12 us Jaywalkerz know the similarities :). i think the similarities come because they are both inspired by Usher, among others lol. Jay Park and his b-boy background seem more crisp (? idk if that is the right word) while Taeyang is more fluid (like Chris Brown ?)
Jai Hall Ah, yes. I like your comparisons, Jay definitely has that "crispness" and Taeyang is a little more fluid as well. I like them both as dancers and singers though....although Park's newest video "Mommae" gave me quite a shock, not gonna lie. XD
I can't believe i'm coming back here after so many years, this song still remains fresh in my ears? The fact that Jay produced so many great songs, and established entertainment companies one after another, he really is a respectable person in this field.
After "Tonight" this song made me love Jay Park and im here, listening this awesome song 6 years ago. ♥ OMG when i first met Dok2 and loved him! My dynamite Duet ♥
From getting exiled from the k industry and working changing tires back in Seattle. To a successful come back with a cover of a Bruno mars song and this song and now super successful with AOMG . Ladies and gentlemen that’s what I call hustle . Jay park is too cool . I can’t xD
I don't see anything similar completely different. Jay park need more exposure like taeyang so ppl will see the difference. Jay is versatile n multi talented.
What a throwback. This was my jam back in the day.
Jay leaving 2PM and coming back strong as ever making his own empire, that's respect.
Kim Su hee
I miss this Jay Park... I also love his rap songs, but he should release one-two songs like this in an album..
"Solo" is pretty awesome he should've put it in the album :(
He put it in Everything You Wanted.
Jay Park is like the Asian Usher! Love his vocals and his music! The beginning sounds like an Usher track!!
right !
It would be nice to see the both slaying together ^^
Rizeldn Usher and Jay Park on stage together... a stadium full of pregnant women! HaHa!
eyebrowstj Sounds good x)
True. Matter of fact, Jay was heavily influenced by Usher.
I just wanna say I'm so proud of Jay. As someone who saw 2008 Jay Park develop into the free, f-boy, 2016 Jay Park, I believe his artistic independence is what pushed him to improve and accomplish so much as a musician (and later, CEO!!). SO PROUD.

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING...

i got an Usher feel from this song tho , but i agree Ne-Yo would sing this.
Well, Jay did grow up in the U.S

+Nightpanther12 Mommae did shock you? You must not hear his mixtapes! lol
Miko Emily Aikawa
Haha, no I haven't. XD But it wasn't the lyrics per say, it was the video that shocked me lol.
I can't believe i'm coming back here after so many years, this song still remains fresh in my ears? The fact that Jay produced so many great songs, and established entertainment companies one after another, he really is a respectable person in this field.
2023 forever ❤️

2024 here bro. Still a fan
어휴 지금 들어도 멋있구만
Still jam'n to this in 2015.
❤❤❤
Who’s here in 2021? 🔥🔥🔥
From getting exiled from the k industry and working changing tires back in Seattle. To a successful come back with a cover of a Bruno mars song and this song and now super successful with AOMG . Ladies and gentlemen that’s what I call hustle . Jay park is too cool . I can’t xD
He reminds me of Taeyang. The MV is also kinda like Where U At. Not hating tho, just saying :P
Taeyang has a much better voice in my opinion
IamTonySy Taeyang's vocal technique is lacking compared to Jay's. But since it's your opinion, okay.
I don't see anything similar completely different. Jay park need more exposure like taeyang so ppl will see the difference. Jay is versatile n multi talented.
Taeyang have better voice and Jay dance better than taeyan really stop shit men -_-'
Jay park will be better than Taeyan and all Kpop groups men -_-'
