Best way to restore a relationship is by humbling onself & telling others you're sorry, when you know you've been in the wrong. And that works both ways. It is extremely difficult to be in relationship with people who continue to hurt you & refuse to say they're sorry & not show any effort towards change. Relationships take work on both sides. Not one side continuing to be a door mat for people who are nasty, hateful, vile & cruel to them.

Just went to court and the divorce was finalized not my choice. Joyce is right getting out of myself and helping others helped me out of my depression and blessed me mightily. I have had to move onto another season without her but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Sometimes you can’t restore a relationship except in your heart through forgiveness.

Restoration in relationships is so powerful. However, I feel that when you've tried to make peace with yourself and then with that person you have strife with, you need to leave the situation in God's hands. Some relationships cannot be restored, particularly if the other person is uncomfortable or uncommunicative. Pray and be at peace with yourself. Your mental health and wellbeing is very important.
Agree. Restoration cuts both ways and takes two to clap. If the other party choose to ghost you, it leads you disheartened and disappointed. I have been praying for relationship restoration with my ex for the past 3 months

I agree with you. My gf broke up with me after 17 years. I wanted to get married with her, she didn't want that. I took her to church to learn and know of God. I prayed 🙏 for us, to have God as the center of our relationship. She didn't really care for that. I've learned that if you're not equally yoked, especially with God. No matter how much you pray. Sometimes is difficult to restore relationships when the other one doesnt respect you and appreciate you even if is a family or friend. So is hard to get along w other people but God will help us always

Yes, but like Joyce said, sometimes we have to be the one to lead the way and forgive for us not for the other person. So even if the other person is being difficult, just lead by example and have faith that the other will see the change in you and will do the same. Have grace for the other person as well and pray that God gives breaks throughs to them in their faults, too. Trust in God. Always. ☺️

It’s a shame, because I too only learnt that the things that I was fussing and stressing over things that didn’t matter, worst is when you are fighting with people who don’t care. Only learnt this when I got older, by then all the damage is done. Grateful to have people like you giving me hope, because I’m at the stage now where I want to give up

Great Teaching Joyce, wanted to add a little piece,be careful of poisonous words made by people about a particular friend,it spoils relationships, always learn to have / develop a free mind about a friend, know the person for who he is, not for what others says he is.
I believe trust in relationship is overrated. After my husband was always making calls at night , I would ask and he would just wave off those calls as unimportant.I couldn’t deal with all his lies anymore at some point. Then I decided to find a way to know what was going on and I had to talk to a colleague of mine at work which referred me to this great hacking team ultimate hack who helped clone his cellphone without having to touch his device. To my surprise my husband has been a cheating Narcissist. and I’m glad i found out all his secrets and infidelity and how he planned on using this pandemic to get back to me. I got access to his Facebook, iMessage, GPS location , WhatsApp, Call Logs and Text Messages both recent and deleted ones with a remote link that was processed . I’m here in New York and was able to access my husband’s phone even while he was away in Australia cheating on me. I was heartbroken when I found out about all the conversation my husband was having with other girls and how he was flirting on dating site. Going through some relationships pain. Praying to become a better man. My GF is mad at me, she has every right to be. I haven’t been the man that she needed. I don’t listen, I’m defensive, I don’t try to understand and in doing these things I said things that I don’t mean. I see things now and I know what needs to be done. I praying for a second chance. I suffer from depression and anxiety and hv been in a long term relationship with a man that has continuoisly cheated on me. Never defends me and i keep asking God to show me and give me strenght to leave. Im always grateful for all his graces i was raised in spirit filled home and taught to live as righteous a life as possible and yet ive sufffered from abusive relationship to abusive relationship n friends. There was a very long line at a customer service counter for a major retailer. We waited, waited. They were short staffed. The people that were there did not know what to do. My turn came and I was told I'd have to wait. I stepped aside and waited, waited. I sat down.
A woman came up to me. "Who are you?!" "You were so patient and sweet to the woman!" "I would have blown up!" "But you thanked her!"
She said, "I had to find out who you were?"
I laughed and told her they were short staffed. She said yes, but asked again, "Who are you?"

I’m sorry for what you both are going through. I might be a spring chicken when it comes to marriage, this year will be 4th anniversary but I’ve seen a lot in my own parents marriage, my mom ran out on my dad but by the Grace of God and with a lot of prayer and persistent prayer, He brought her back to my dad. Have you ever wanted something so badly you were so persistent? As a child you wanted a present or a toy and begged and begged? Be like that with God and your prayers for your marriage. He will heal your broken hearts, your broken relationships you just have to lean on Him. I highly recommend watching the movie Fireproof, it may give you girls some courage and hope. Know that God Loves you and He doesn’t want to see you hurt, just have patience but be persistent in prayer and have strength in your Faith and never have any negative thoughts, don’t leave room for the devil to roam. Be strong sisters in Christ ❤️ I’ll keep you in my prayers

Thank you so much for posting this. I’ve been struggling with whether or not God wants me to leave my 2nd marriage. My 3 kids are so young. I left their dad over physical abuse for the 2 youngest who are both special needs and that was a no brainer for me. However this 2nd one is more emotional and mental but it’s keeping me so torn up every time it happens which is almost daily. The silent treatment is so cruel but I am thankful he’s not in my face like their dad was but there has been infidelity on his part a few times but I forgave that. How is a better way for me to know for sure what God wants me to do?

So I have to forgive my husband for yrs of Adultry because he has messing around for 5 yrs and 3 Mnths or now I can say 4 Mnths it does hurt me that this stuff has happened it seems as if he does not want our marriage to work and I am scared to forgive .But Joyce is right to be right with God Everyone must forgive I am not perfect but I must .I am not perfect and I have to in every case.
Forgiveness doesn't mean putting up with bad behavior. You do have a choice to leave for adultery but you also are called to forgive for your sake not his.

Good day Joyce 🌹... I have been in this relationship for 5 years and it hasn't been easy.. We both drank throughout our relationship, we've, well I've been sober since October 14th of this year.. He drank til November.. But anyways, it's another addiction that's creeping up on me,(us) . I've done this addiction with him since we stopped drinking, but lately I've told him that if he wanted to do it that he can do it alone. But last night I allowed Satan to convince me to do it with him so I did it 😢 now I'm sitting here crying to the Lord Jesus to help me get out of this relationship because, truly I don't want it I'm done with this relationship. It's been in my mind for awhile but I don't have anywhere to go and I have my grandkids with me... Im asking for prayers that the Lord Jesus provides a home for me n my grandbabies so we can grow in our Lord Jesus Christ... I do read scripture, I pray, and do the things that our heavenly Father wants us to do to be in his love. My partner doesn't even do any of this, I've tried, but it's like throwing my pearls to the swine... He's different from me, I'm trying to live for our Lord Jesus, and him it's the opposite... All I ask for is prayers for a home, strength to tell him it's over, and live a happy and faithful life for our Lord Jesus Christ ❤️
