Thank you for being honest and having some integrity. Literally no one else talked about the shifters not being magnetic and the cheap thumb encoders. Everybody is praising the wheel. You also seem to be one of the few, who doesn't have an affiliate link, which explains a lot.

It's a flagship "Hey, look at what we can do" wheel and wont be their top seller. People who buy it will buy it because it is a one to one and they LOVE Lambos. I think it's a beautiful wheel and while its a great looking replica of a real wheel... The lack of backlighting in todays market is a no for me. I race a lot at night and in the dark. Back lighting is essential
Few issues with this replica in my opinion: It is rather Unpractical on most cars It is of a relatively unknown and very rare car so people don’t buy it because they see it Sundays on the race track You cannot find the car in any major sims unlike the McLaren GT3 and GT4, the BMW GT3 and GT4 and even the Bentley GT3 that is represented in ACC Replicas are always a balance between practicality and realism but it is very beneficial for that to pick a car that is represented in both the sim and real world a lot so people actually have a relationship to the history of the wheel. If your favourite driver is Rossi for example you’re more likely to buy the fanatec BMW GT3 wheel whereas if it’s James Baldwin you might buy one of the many McLaren wheel replicas. Anyways TLDR it isn’t the product itself it is the car that they chose to replicate from that’s the issue.
Naw i think all brands need high end wheels like this. Happy to see it but moza needs to uograde some components if they are going to charge 1300 like the damn shifters are just not good to me. Then you hsve people like that gt7 player whats his name he has that green logo for his channel and talks about fanatec all the time and covers all of tgat stuff. Yeah him he didnt talk about one thing being not good on it and its horrible he isnt doing so because there are a good bit of comprimises on this wheel for the price. Like in a pretty bad way.
I don't mind spending that type of money on a high end wheel. But I've yet to buy any of these high end replica or FIA Homologated wheels. I'm much more interested in wheels like GSI Hyper P1 with amazing functionality for that kind of price.
No magnetic shifters and no clutch paddles for 1300€? Saying it's a replica is one kind to justify it's lack of features but in a very competitive segment for high end wheels I don't think many would go for this if they are not ones who adore Lamborghini or simply want to stay in the Moza ecosystem without any 3rd party wheels.
Different marketed target audience, different needs and wants. There should be a shift in feature priorities when making a sim wheel, even if it may differ in terms of aesthetics from what the wheel is based on.
After getting the FSR and their poor support for their underwhelming dashes, never again, MOZA. They have basically ignored their customers who invested into the FSR wheel. They also made way too many concessions on this wheel and if the screen still doesn’t work with simHUB by now, it’s not worth the price.
Looks kinda neat but not a layout I would be interested in using, not to mention that AFAIK you need to buy a special hub to run Moza wheels on 3rd party wheelbases and then I'd much rather have something that works natively with my system.
If there’s any way to get this working on a Fanatec wheelbase with a QR2, and the screen/telemetry/touch works, then I’m sold. I’ve always loved Squadra Corse, and I’ll do anything to get this working cross platform
I still prefer wheels without screen as I see it useless. I have GSI X29 as it is very universal wheel in reasonable price, using dash screen where needed.
I can’t bring myself to buy a wheel with a screen when I race 100% in VR. Went with the GS over the FRS and respected Moza for providing both options. But good on them for continuing to offer a huge range and so much choice for their eco-system
@@Gizfreek Yeah and then you have a dash in front of the screen, where usually wouldn't be a dash. Is it so difficult to wrap your head around the fact that not everybody likes that?
People find anything to complain about. If there was a white lint ball on the outer packaging, there would be some complaint that it isn't original because the original product is black, lol.
your right but fanatec bentley and bmw and surely the porsche are way more expensive especially the porsche could be triple the price BUT i also won’t consider buying the wheel
@@ParrotTheBird well I can't justify the price for this wheel as a sim wheel due to its other flaws. It lacks buttons, encoders, funky switches, double-clutch. And it's too heavy. So I think it's useless as a simracing wheel. Besides, making a replica of the wheel of the car that you can't actually drive in any sim - well it clearly is just a marketing move. The car isn't even a racing car but a track-day car for a bunch of wealthy dudes.
They lock these expensive wheels in their mediocre ecosystem and don't even give the end user the option to use it with Lovely Dashboard and simhub. Complete insanity!
Yet still, the MOZA brand feels cheap Chinese, although they are trying their best. Edit: their stuff nowadays is good, but their perception of their brand is still lacking by many!

Nice wheel but seriously, these wheels are getting too expensive. Bring back the $200 McLaren wheel or the $300 bmw wheel .... Give us something tangible lol. Nice review.
@@bojansimic4251Chinese direct products are traditionally cheaper because of the cheaper cost of labor and mass manufacturing methods. Also usually less to no middle men to inflate pricing.

It could be interesting to do a shootout between all wheels between 1500 and 2000€ when this and the bentley wheels will be out in the wild
Not sure if this wheel make sense as addition to my Grid 911 RSR Wheel but it look very nice
Where there is a market, a customer base for more premium products emerge
I think it is the same with the Mercedes F1 Wheel - it is a niche product but why THIS wheel and not a Lamborghini GT3 wheel?
because the lambo wheel is the same as the audi gt3 wheel. Also, so they could charge a bit more, considering this is their first $1,000 pus wheel.
@@arg_9584 yeah that makes sense

Its Forza Motorsport, the only "sim" that has this car. -Michel

True, but you saw that some flaws were also hiding on other parts and in the software.
