I've heard of the "witch wound" from only one other creator on YT and so I really appreciate getting your perspective. I am definitely called to heal this in my family, I just didn't know what it meant or how to put the puzzle together until I first heard the concept of the "witch wound". Slowly, it's all becoming more clear. I am a direct descendant of one of the accusers in the infamous Putnam family who started the Salem witch hysteria.. Learning this caused me to begin understanding how women have betrayed women over the centuries (not to mention religion and religious leaders, but that's another tangent). Your perspective on colonialism and indigenous people is one I had not considered and I'm so grateful to you for bringing it up. I have always felt a spiritual kinship with the indigenous people of the Americas, but I didn't think of them as "witches" in the context you have provided. Thank you for that.

thanks for reflecting here and for sharing your piece. yes, the colonization of people (all around the world) really removed indigenous people from practices that were more attuned to nature and rhythms. The residue of having to assimilate really carries into how and why we're afraid to be seen!

Thank you so much 🙏…I think I have a witch wound…
Only a few days ago I asked myself, why I always ask for permission to do thing. Even if I can get a banana. In other situations I realised I asked my higher self für permission.
I‘m the first one that I know who work as a designer as a creative job. But I want to work as a fulltime artist and writer. I‘m also into planst and biology. My mom is a biologist and even my grandma (moms mom) studies biology and chemistry. And the creative abilities are from my mom‘s father side.
And my angestoßene were forced to flee in first and second world war, because of our german origin. So there is also a lot of ancesteral trauma. 🙈
But I couldn‘t find the first podcast you mentioned. Can you give me a link?

Love the idea of using yoga flow breathwork for connecting with ancestors!
