Frankly the videos he did on skating have made me very skeptical of the times on all his videos, 10 minutes to Ollie 5 hours to kickflip and then less than 4 and a half more hits to heel flip? I cant help but call bullshit as much as I loved him before he went sell out mode

This video is very inspirational. I'm kind of doing something similar right now on facebook where I'm teaching myself to play the Talkbox and putting up a Talkbox video every tuesday. I'm sure that after 6 months or so I'll be good enough to play live in front of people. Keep up the good work, and keep learning new things :)
Ahhh, I could feel myself leaning further forward with every attempt thinking "go on go on land it this time!" and then you landed it and I got so excited for you :) I really enjoyed the kickflip video and the unicycle video, and this video was brilliant too. Great work for a great cause.
+Mike Boyd have you actually taken up any of these hobbies you did videos for since doing the video? like do you actually skate or unicycle or anything just for fun since learning?
I could hit a five no problem, its my consistency, like I land every other kickflip, and so many of my mannys drop out on me, lipslides always take me like 5 trys
Yeah. He is not a normal person. I think he believes that anyone can do anything just as easily as him if they tried, but he is just abnormal. Probably takes tons of adderall. Only thing I can really think of.
"Yea I think this is gonna be easy" **then proceeds to take another 4 hours to learn the trick** Lol love your content man you truly inspire me to try new things each time I watch your channel
You got an ankle sprain, thats our secret handshake of initiation haha plenty more of em to come. Honestly, doing a heelflip under that time is impressive, ive been doing this 20 years. Id love to see you learn a 360 flip, thats like every skaters favourite trick and being able to say you can do that is impressive. Love you channel mate.
Bro thanks for igniting the fire to brave the challenges ahead and chase a dream or two. Proof if you want something bad enough and add faith and determination we can accomplish what matters to us.
it is if u learn while rolling... it's a different mindset if you're a skater trainer kid or someone who practices more indoors on carpet than actually skating around... I learned to Ollie moving out of necessity to get up curbs and whatnot and from there everything was easier rolling.. but i know kids who can do some insane flat ground shit but can't kickflip a gap
yeah it seems like most of his issues in the beginning were with the board going back, and then later with just commiting his front foot. both problems solved by trying it rolling haha but still awesome
Lol I wonder how long it would take a complete novice to do a front foot impossible which I think would be harder than a dragon flip cos you can just kick out hard and fluke the flip but an impossible type trick isnt really fluke-able.
It’s pretty even cuz mike learned to Ollie and kick flip on his first day and Lance learned to Ollie fs 180 bs 180 pop shuv it and do all of them while moving on his first day and the fs pop shove it heel flips and kick flips on his second day.
The coin he got was an Australian 1 dollar coin also I'm pretty sure palm trees don't grow in the UK. The question is why did he film this video in Australia
As a skater for 3 years, I'm at the stage where I'm obsessed with switch (tricks with the opposite foot) and thus video made me think "if he can do it then its possible" and bwcause of you I had the mental state to learn switch heel flips!! The last switch basic trick I needed
This is awesome haha, he obviously is new to skating so his form is very strange, but it’s funny because every time he has form that adds that “finesse” that comfortable skaters have, he seems to keep the board controlled and almost land it. It’s funny how crucial form can be! Awesome video
I know I'm 2 years late but I've been skating for 15 years and I'm astonished. I love this not only to see that SWEET, SWEET progressing, but also that give back as well 💪🏼🙏
Hey mike, I know it’s been a while since you’ve made this video, but as a skateboarder myself, if I can help you with your next one wether it’s the treflip or variable flip or whatever, it’s to work on getting the rotation right and even better, like if you want to kick flip, try and make it rotate for a double, for muscle memory, without any intention of getting any feet’s on the board, then try catching your flip with your front foot only, because that’s how it’s supposed to be done, and then add on your back foot and land the trick, that’s probably the easiest way you’ll get there, and for any further video, try breaking down the thing you want to learn it makes it so much easier!! Keep it up man!!
I loved your last video so much it took me 2 months to learn to kickflip and after watching your video I was way more consistent with going out and trying it and I've got it down now... thanks for setting me a new challenge :)
