Was thinking the same thing. SO much potential doing spoofs like this but really was painful to watch. I think Seth Meyers did some of the best spoofs with Jon Snow and the lord of light lady.

I think that's all SNL was trying to do, have an excuse to have Khal Drogo in a sketch. I guess I would do the same thing.
Even with Jason it was cringy. They seemed more interested in making the costumes than writing jokes. The actors looked like they were phoning it in. Jason looked like he knew this was going to bomb and he just wanted to blend in with the scenery.
The worst thing is it was a cool concept and could have been really good.

They inverted the original sketches where there was very little money for costumes and props but the acting and humor allowed you to buy in to where the costumes and backdrop almost look like they were taken from the Game of Thrones set but the acting is cringy and the humor is lacking.

That was a braid, not dreadlocks. A Dothraki warrior earns the right to braid his hair following his first victory in battle. The longer his braid is, the better he is as a warrior. His hair is only cut if the khalasar is defeated in combat, so the entire world may see their shame. Khal Drogo was one of the very few Dothraki men who died without their hair ever being cut. He was known as The Great Khal for a reason.

It definitely could have been better, but it had some amusing elements. "No more aftershows!" was pretty good. They should have kept Drogo with Dothraki, instead of him switching back and forth between it and the Common Tongue.
I love GoT and this was so god awful that it was actually hilarious watching how terrible SNL has become.

I also like the Bealish style. Cersei's gowns since the finale of season 6 are to die for. Sansa's black feathered style was gorgeous as well. Missandei's outfits in Mereen were a faux pas, tho. Love her current Dragonstone attire.

Sahiry Gnobehi I heard it and it was dumb. The problem with this show is some jokes have actual potential on paper but it depends on the person and environment in which its delivered. That bit actually could have been funny in another sketch not this one. But thats how bad it is on SNL the writers blow their wad on potentially good bits because they lack the creativity to come up with good ones for appropriate sketches 🤦🏽♂️.
