This security camera has a solar panel and battery built in! I found the setup process very smooth and the image quality very good. It has a 2k camera which is a quality between 1080p and 4k video. The 360 camera is interesting in that it allow you to 'look' around so that you could use less cameras in a specific area. There are down sides of say using more cameras as this camera can really look one way at a time. So it is better for usage in situations where you only want to look a certain way momentarily rather than survey it all the time.

I got a comment below saying this camera may have a "UV induced hazing" flaw. That is where the plastic used is not UV stable and will result in hazing in the primary camera lens. As this is difficult to test, this is a warning to look more into this before buying for future buyers.
How big of a SD card do you need for this product to run efficiently?

I have one of these in use aprox. one year...the lens has become very foggy thus no clear picture. Please advise..
Hmm. Might be due to the humidity. Is it humid where you are? Perhaps have to call in for a warranty.
@@BeatTheBushDIY: I troubleshot the camera myself and discovered UV induced "hazing" on the protective plastic lens. The protective plastic lens is a bonded part on the "camera lens assy" and is not replaceable...the entire camera lens assy. would have top be replaced. On the Amazon customer feedback for the camera at least one other purchaser is complaining about UV induced "hazing"...the manufacturer appears to have not used UV stabilized parts in the front of the camera lens.
Ouch! This is an issue I didn't realize I need to test. It's hard to figure out the long term reliability of the camera when using it for a few weeks. I will make a note of this for other possible buyers with a pinned comment.

I am not sure if you mentioned this but How long does one charge last ?
It varies A LOT depending on how many times it gets activated. If something moves all the time in the frame, it can drain in less than a day. If not much, I've used it over months.
Does it come w a spotlight? If so, is there a way to turn it off? I dont want it going off every 3 mins for a dang cat and blaring into my neighbor's window. I am looking for one where it has night vision with out the spotlight but will distinguish between humans and cats and yet can also view live from my phone like ny ringcam but the spotlight or even alarms are a concern....

Is the camera on? Hold the QR with a brighter screen around 12" away from the front. Make sure the camera is unobstructed. Make sure the wifi password doesn't have strange characters next. Possibly make sure the wifi is 2.4Ghz only not one that can do either.
the wifi might be the problem. altice doesnt allow you to split the 2 signals. guess i have to return these.@@BeatTheBushDIY

Can you get it to record for 24 hours on the sd card?
It'll likely drain the battery quickly as this device is meant to record only when there is movement.
Do you know the range of the wifi of the camera by chance

Yes, that's how I was able to put clips from this camera in this video.

What's the point in going for Solar-powered cameras if I have to keep climbing ladders in my yard outside, every time the battery runs dead. Sorry but no thanks.
It usually wont run out of battery unless it is too sensitive and runs all the time.
Tbh I never had issues with my old ones, running for years, I just want new ones because of the rotate option

You have to buy one on your own it doesn’t come with one make sure it’s micro sd and no larger then 128gb cause if higher as in 256gb card it will format it to 128gb

@@AE-jw7scno you don’t need a sd card for it really you can record the videos straight to your phone with the app. The sd card is basically if you didn’t want to store video files on your phone but more then likely it’s not going to take up any space and the videos auto edit to the sensor scenes and you can download any scene you want. As far as the setup you need to log in your WiFi and just move your phone around in proximity with the QR code and follow the instructions when you log your WiFi for the first time use the regular username not the 5g connect to connect first after that then you can use the 5g connection
