This is a great guide and I followed it to the letter on my L&K but sadly it didn't solve the problem. The actual cause was the windscreen seal at the top. It was allowing water to ingress. If the car was pointing uphill the water would pool and make its way out of the light cluster above the rear view mirror. If facing downhill it would make its way through the A-pillars and down onto the carpets in the exact same way as described in this video. So if you've watched this and still can't get to the bottom of the problem, ignore the roof and turn your attention to the windscreen. When the glass people came to reseal it, they could actually push the windscreen away from the car at the top from the inside. I had mine replaced and it stopped the leaking completely.

Mine's now started leaking from the trim where the sunroof switch is located, but I suspect this is condenstation from the weth through sunroof glass where's condensation accumulates due to the carpets being damp.

The water can travel all the way to the switch housing & leak out there - it can sometimes be cause by the same issue.

Hi Andrew, just found your videos on this leaking sunroof and I've looked at your other shorter videos? I am looking at buying a Yeti L&K and just worried about the sunroof and want to have your videos as a back-up for me if mine starts to leak. Awesome instructions too :) Did all this work actually last long time and how long did it all take?

Hey - thanks for watching my guide! It took 6 days in total to do the full seal up - we put on glue twice a day - morning & evening - then put a waterproof cover over the whole top of the car in between. I have yet to have any further issues with mine after about 6 weeks & 3 severe rain storms in Scotland!
