S1 was one of the greatest shows ever made. It had a dynamic plot. Interesting characters and character arcs, and a complete story from start to finish. Simple put. It cannot be topped. s2 will happen because of oine reason. money. There's money to be made for the producers, but that's it.

The whole shock factor of not knowing what squid game was and watching people getting gunned down and massacred during the first red light green light was what sold the first season for me, the unfamiliarity of what the games were about and the pure fear set within the players is what made s1 so good. But in s2 the main character has experienced it and knows what the whole event is about, sure there will be new games but he will go into it expecting blood and death, I hope it isn't super cliche where he stops the leaders and is just super rich by the end, but I do expect him to die since we expect him not too. I'm excited for a s2 but the producers will have to really have to dig deep within the bag to pull it off.

If you notice he's now wearing a cloak similarly to those who would manage the game in s1 so perhaps his motive will be another in s2. Some clips contain another movie called Cube. I was shocked because I saw half of the clips with the Squid Game series. Perhaps they will release other films about toys and mazes and be collected in the Squid Game.

They did manage to squeeze out a decend 2nd season based on the manhunt but it really went downhill after that. I hope this doens't do the same.

In my opinion Squid game season 2 should took inspiration from the riddler and saw traps. Player was forced to solve the puzzles and answer the cryptic riddles. Kinda like die hard 3 riddles and gallons puzzle from simon peter gruber
Theory: I think that the police guy survived and that the main character will now help him to stop it all, bc the police officer got so much evidence and we didn’t really get it confirmed that he died so I think he will be back in the next season hopefully 😅👍
