Great video...is it quite far from himeji station?

The castle is about 15-20 minute walk from the station

Do you recommend going there if you are only visiting that area due to that castle? Or do you say it is better to just visit Kyoto

I would say it depends on how much time you have. Kyoto is full of things to see so if your only in that area for a few days I would say stick with Kyoto. But if you have the time Himeji Castle is pretty amazing to see

What was the thing with filling you were eating and where did you say you got it?

That was taiyaki. Its kind of like a pancake thats filled with different fillings. The most common are red bean, custard and sometimes chocolate.

How long did you stay there?

I think we spent about 3 hours at the castle and the garden. But I think of we had more time in Himeji we probably would have spent even more time there
