Transported back to the 1920s. Amazing arrangement and performance. Magical. 🎉
Superb work by Gunther Andernach on washboard and blocks.
Yes, but too prominent in this video which should have concentrated more on the trumpet. Obviously the guy who made this video never heard the Erskine Tate version...
@@gennettor8915 Obviously!
Love the washboard player great stuff
Pure joy.
I thought it was written in English!
It’s not the washboards fault that the camera focussed on him.
Wow! It's fantastic!
Excellent
...ejne nick-nack nick-nack........well done !!!
Blimey! The piano player speeds up.
i agree helen from fbjazz
Keith Nichols was the leader, arranger and conductor. I suspect that he might have wanted the band to speed up a bit, and if so, he succeeded.
Top quality !
..after WB, we all met together in Berlins famous Jazzpup "DKW"....."Die kleine Weltlaterne"...please # it out...
miss Spats!
bennny Andersons
Would have been much better without the constant focus on the washboard (or indeed without it all together).
I think it was the way it had the microphone.
Harry I think that German fellow did a great job!
Guys, guys, he obviously doesn't like authentic jazz. Silly bucko.
The washboard doesn’t cut it for me.
The banjoist is GOOD. However, the banjo itself is junk. LOUSY tone.
Really? Sounds normal to me.
