- ShredLights sent me their new SL-300+ and SL-R1+ lights to try out on my electric skateboard. I am very impressed with these new lights. They work just as well as the original versions, but ShredLights have made some amazing improvements.
Bluetooth connectivity means that these light can now be controlled from your phone, and there is also an automatic on/off setting which means you can set them up, and once they're charged, you don't need to worry about them.
The new SL-R1+s also have a break light option. The tail lights can detect when you are slowing down, and they shine even brighter. It's an AMAZING new feature that makes these lights worth every penny!!!

That's quite a hefty amount of money for bluetooth lights that don't have their flashing modes run in sync.

They are currently testin the Android app with riders, official release soon but it's available to download.
Love their new stickers and ability to increnentally increase how bright lights are via the app rather than pre-set values!

In flashing modes - These lights do not run in sync. It also seems like the app has recently been updated to exclude the "SYNC" option that was previously included. Slight dealbreaker if you wish to run the flashing modes in sync.
I can only hope Shredlights will have some solution for this in future.
How did you fix them to the board? It looked like you have to buy a bracket separately, which seems a little strange. But you didn't show attaching them. Thanks dude.

It looks like the SL-300+ and SL-R1+ combo pack doesn't actually include mounts. But the combo pack for the standard SL-300 & R1s (non-bluetooth) do. If you buy the new combo pack with mounts it costs $154.99, so it's only $10 more.
Also, I meant to say, I have another video coming about how to mount the ShredLights onto my Meepo Envy. Because it’s belt drive, there’s a little more to it.
