    When we bought in 2007 - we got 210 points for under 17K - so its been WELL worth it for us! Going to Aulani this year for 8 nights plus - at least 4K savings vs straight up booking a resort on Oahu. And this is just ONE booking.

    We love DVC, we have been member since 1998! DVC has let us stay in deluxe resorts when we could have only afford a value or moderate resorts. Thanks for sharing 👍❤❤😁

    I’d rather just book my Disney trips the traditional way and everything is paid in full 30 days before my vacation. No stress.

    Love DVC! Just make sure that you know when you want to go. Studios book up really fast. Also, buy where you want to stay. Sometimes it's hard to get another resort at the 7 month mark...especially during the holidays.

    Even though these can't be considered investments, they actually can go up in value. My points at Grand Floridian are worth more now than I paid for them. These are not regular timeshares that you can't sell if you want to get out. They are in demand, and Disney has the right of first refusal. This keeps the prices up, which is great for resale.

    2:54 Just a heads up - this is NOT a resort room. It's "Surfmen's Station" at Disney's Beach House at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. It's used for activities at the Beach House and has air conditioning.

    I’ve owned dvc since 2008. It’s a great deal. The only caveat is the annual dues. 250 points at AK are $1900 a year. That has to be factored into one’s decision to buy into dvc. The one thing I would do different is buy into the home resort with the least annual dues. It’ll be a higher cost up front but in the long run it pays off. DVC is convenient. It allows for “getaway “ vacations to Disney. Find a cheap flight and head out for a three day weekend. The key to it is buying the correct amount of points and using those points wisely. Never borrow all your points from the following use year. The majority of the resale contracts are from people that have done that. Annual dues come around or financing payments come due and your paying for something you can’t use.

      You can always go, u could always keep borrowing. Not preferred, but in a pinch.

    • @mindyschocolate
      @mindyschocolate 4 года назад +1

      The only thing I don’t like is there is no “quick getaways” with the DVC. Everything books up too far in advance. I’m in the military and don’t know where I’ll be in three months. No way I can do 11, or even 7 months, in advance.

      I've got the money, but I choose to spend it wisely, so I agree with Powerpatriot. This is for rich people but more importantly, people who are bad with money and who allow emotions to dictate how they spend. I choose to not go broke while making the mouse rich. The Club 33 membership itself was worth it circa 2012 when it was $15,000 annual dues but now it's $65,000. People still line up to buy this? PASS! Glad I went for so many years but at some point you realize that having money doesn't mean you have to be bad with it. Enjoy DVC but it's designed to really separate you from your money. I wish people would be wise enough to stand up to this sort of thing.

    • @JC-ct7wp
      @JC-ct7wp 4 года назад +7

      DVC is best explained this way. You are paying todays prices for tomorrows vacation. The points assigned to a property can never change. They can move points around , depending on the time of year, but the total can not change. This means the points you have today will be worth the same 30 years from now. Now picture the retail cash price of Disney rooms 30 years from now. We have saved money already and it's only been 5 years. BTW we are far from rich.

    Pharsa adalah seorang putri penguasa kerajaan Gandara Yg di kutuk oleh seorang Dewi sebelum di kandung dan di lahirkan matanya tidak akan bisa melihat/buta. Dewi itu adalah Dewi Durga yg tak lain dan tak bukan adalah dirinya sendiri hahaha... Karena Dewi Durga memberkati kelahiran putri seorang hambanya yg setia yaitu iblis maka mau tak mau harus membunuh serta mencincang dan memanggang manusia satu negara habis. Untuk membersihkan dosanya Dewi Durga melakukan ritual membunuh dirinya sendiri dgn cara membakar tubunya agar bisa renkarnasi menjadi anak manusia di kemudiam hari. Dewi Durga tidak mau melihat wajah manusia jika kelak terlahir sebagai anak manusia Dia ingin hidupnya nanti hanya untuk melayani mereka untuk membayar semua dosa dosanya.
