Redmond 2050 Workshop: Marymoor and Mixed-Use | June 27, 2024

Recording of a community workshop to discuss the changes ahead for Marymoor Village and the new Mixed-Use zones.
• Marymoor Village changes discussed at the event include changes to zoning districts and development standards (including building height, allowed uses, and street layouts), as well as the unique placemaking tools that will be implemented in Marymoor to make it a unique neighborhood that is inclusive and accessible.
• The City is also adopting new mixed-use zones for our commercial areas in and near Marymoor. This event continued the conversations started about the mixed-use zones at the May 28 Mixed-Use Meet-up. We discussed the intents of the mixed-use districts that are replacing our existing commercial/retail districts and what businesses need city staff to consider while drafting the new regulations. Business owners that currently have general commercial or regional retail zoning are encouraged to participate in the creation of these new zones.
