Francis was so beautiful and she looked so kind. Sad that it all ended so tragically. Her wedding dress was beautiful but tastefully understated, not over the top. I also love her hairstyle.

Frances' story is the saddest story around the Twins
How genuinely The Krays look happy. Chingford cemetery where my Nan and Grandad are buried The Krays and Francis and their mum are. The cemetery is beautiful and very well kept. Their stones are huge black and gold.
Frances is one of the loveliest brides I've ever seen.

I believe Franicis was swept off her feet with the smartly dressed Reggie and his overall persona! What girl doesent like a confident handsome lad... it reminds me of when I was born in the UK, Lancashire in '69, and i recall my mom's hair done up like Francis's 🙂
Like sacrificing a maiden to a mythic beast; a two headed hydra of organized crime. My heart aches for the glimpses of happiness, for Francis' hope and for Reggie's anxious, evasive expressions. It's easy to believe Reggie wanted to be happy, sincerely wanting to give this a go, despite the doubts writ large on his face. Ronnie tries to dominate, with his arm extending across the bench where Reggie and Frances were seated. Even Ronnie kissing the bride, alongside Reggie, seems to say, "What's yours is mine, for me to allow or to take away." I often wonder if Ronnie's mental illness was due in part to brain damage sustained from boxing. A beautiful and haunting video.

Well I don't know how many people will agree but I really want to give a bit insight on one thing that after doing a very proper research on their relationship it's absolutely clear that both Reggie and Frances deeply loved each other, but everything is not always so perfect.
Anyway hope if they get another lifetime, may God blessed them to live a better life together.
@@Franie111 I would agree that,that was how it was pre 1965. Reggies lifestyle and Ron got in the way of that and i feel Frances drifted into disliking Reg towards the end. No Ron and things would have been different. There is no doubt that Reg loved Frances until she died and he contuined to do so for the rest of his life. Really in my opinion,Frances was another victim of the Krays. Granted she had mental health problems before she met Reg but the pressures pretty much took her over the edge. I can't see how she could have had a normal life after Reg,and i don't think she could see that either

I think it is safe to say that Reg loved Frances with all of his heart. But the problem was that he just didn't know how to show it until it was too late.
THE GREATEST I think you’re right but unfortunately I think another real obstacle was Ronnie. He disliked her was jealous of Reggie’s attention to her and fear of losing his close relationship with Reggie and Reggie always felt responsible for Ronnie it was true love maybe there together atlast

@Yorkshire Lass a lot of my family knew the Krays very well. The movie was a very poor description of their true relationship. I guess we will never know the full story

Frances looks beautiful in these lovely wedding photos. To me Frances always resembled the young Natalie Wood.
So sad she died at such a young age. Even her very name sounds sad. I always automatically refer to her as Frances Shea. Never Frances Kray for some unexplained reason.
How did she die?
YES she does! Natalie's death is still a mystery. She could not swim and was found floating. Alot more to that story but when I see France's photos I think of Natalie Wood, especially the photo they used for her obituary with the long hair.

My main interest lies with the Krays but only because i have read about them the most. There isn't much writen about the Richardsons bar Eddie,Charlie and Frank's books. I think a detailed book on them is needed

From the comments at the end I thought she came from an environment that was part and parcel of the Krays environment. Wasn't her brother working for the Krays? Granted I've only watched the movie and don't know a lot about these guys otherwise.

Frances was indeed lovely but it's very true what was said on the video...you can't take a girl from a normal background into a gangster's world and expect her to be happy.
That aside, her suicide was heartbreaking and the pain for her parents must have been unbearable.

@@maidinulster She did have mental problems but I think they came about during her marriage to Reg. She was probably very depressed.

I suppose it depends on the severity of the illness. Some people seem to suffer with depression on and off but don't go as far as taking their own lives. As you know expert help is on hand nowadays. Great strides have been made into researching the illness and sufferers do benefit from therapy and medication but in the case of Frances, I don't think being married to a gangster helped with her problems.
Compared to the pure parasitic filth the Krays were, and eternally are. She's Angelic! She was someone who died to keep her threatened Loved Ones safe. And Her eternal place in the Place of Eternal Unconditional Love secure. The movie with superb actor Tom Hardy, should never had used a actors voice. To falsely portray Francas's voice praising Reggie Kray after the bar fight scene, or any other. "They never stood a chance against my beautiful Reggie." She was dead as a direct result of the subhuman parasites, both Krays. She hated them enough to die!
