I highly recommend taking a gong bath , I did , I was sober and had an out of body experience . I closed my eyes and in my mind's eye I took flight as a bird and traveled to every continent and many ancient cultures , it was incredible !

There's no context to this. Is this a one to one correspondence like you see with sound shaping sand into beautiful forms. I don't know what the connection of the sound is here to the shapes. If you replaced it with sand on a thin metal plate and then used these sounds would you get roughly the same shapes? I wish a narrator would have said something like "the shapes you will see are produced by the sound affecting the..."[whatever that substance and substrate is]. As it is, all I hear is a sound and all I see is a gyro spinning with pretty shapes and colors, but I don't know the connection between the two is.
Thanks for the recommendations, but yes you are right, the shapes on the water are in direct correspondence to the audio playing at the time. The creator of this video who made the cymatics played and recorded the audio you hear at the same time. I would suggest looking into how the different processes of cymatics work in relation to water vs sand. We dont work with cymatics per se, this was made by a friend who studies the subject. The intention is to show the base symmetry of this specific audio track.

If my hunch is correct, what you see done to water in a Cymatics session will more or less mirror the effect the same sound would have on a human body (mostly made of water) and mind (which is *like* water). Wish I had more money to get one hahaha.
