It's one of our favorite places to visit to get a great view. Clear or cloudy its always worth the hike to see those views. Have you been? Thanks for watching Nick!
Thanks for supporting our channel! Its definitely worth heading to Clingmans if you are in the Smokies area. The views on a clear day are incredible! We did just hear from the brother and sister in-law that there was about a 1.5 hour drive up to Clingmans once you turned off 441. Its peak season because of the fall foliage so might be good to know if your going there in the next few weeks. We hope you enjoy!
Clingmans Dome is a sight to see! The walk to get to the top is really steep,so be ready for the hike. Once you get to the top,you never want to leave! Enjoy
Clingmans is always a must for us when we visit! It has the best view in the smokies, especially on a clear day! Yes, we werent prepared for the hike the first time and forgot water. We learned and thought it would be a good idea to make a video about the whole experience. Thanks for watching!
Hello! We went in June of this year. It was still chilly in the mornings and night but they day can get to be in the high 70's-low 80's. I always bring some jeans for the mornings and night and then shorts for the daytime. I always bring a pair with me wherever we go (If I'm wearing shorts I bring jeans and a jacket/sweater and vice versa). It can be tricky packing for the mountains but if you bring a bag with you with extra clothes then you will be prepared for cold and warm weather. Also, always bring a light rain jacket/poncho or umbrella. It rains a lot in the mountains. If you are heading to higher elevations like Clingmans definitely bring a sweater or jacket because it is usually in the 60's up there. Always check the weather and keep an eye on it to prep for your trip because the weather is very different during the different season.
Would you take the hike to see these beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountain on top of Clingman's Dome?
Gotta hike, not drive but that’s cool too. Cool trip.
Hi there! Thanks for watching. We’d love to hike up there one day. Especially the AT! It’s on our bucket list. 🤩
Great views from up there!
