That was probably the easiest to follow tutorial I've seen on how the whole process works. It's something I can maybe show my kids and they'd be able to get it! A lot of other artists make it seem like a huge disadvantage doing it non-digitally, but the way you lay it out here feels a whole lot less stressful than dealing with all that computery nonsense. It's really motivating for us old-school dead-tree format artists!

I LOVE this video. No speedraw, serious tips, complete process to make a comic’s page, voice calm (infact i understand the words). Pity dont have italian subtitles.
Helpful tip: if you're uploading a comic in the traditional comic layout, you could crop each panel as individual images for web comic uses. Oh and another thing: you could also rearrange the paneling onto one long canvas.
I love your style, and that you did almost all the work by hand instead of digitally. And I would've never thought to add the word bubbles digitally instead of making room for it while drawing (simple, but saves time and stress). Practical step by step, and it was fun to watch. Thanks for showing it from beginning to end!

I especially agree with your point on clarity. I recently made a piece where a character was in a really dynamic pose that involved the character’s leg covering up most of the torso. I showed it to a friend and he genuinely took 30 seconds looking at it trying to decipher what is actually happening. Until then, I thought dynamic poses were the coolest thing, and they still are, but now I know the limits of how far I can go. Great video!

It’s great to see somebody else who just inks right over the pencil and then erases the pencil. I always felt guilty doing that. The Tombow brush pens are really great and they also have a hard tip on the other end.
Ahh why did you feel guilty?? I think the only other way is to use a lightbox, which is so much more complicated, right over the pencil is efficient imo😎✌
