the reason bang chan is so underrated is that he is WAY TOO HUMBLE like way too humble he'd say stuff like "don't watch my fancams im not that good" i get him because he's seen alot, he's been through a lot and that has affected his self esteem very badly, he's completely unaware of the fact that he's a genius, not only does he has ears for music/sound, he has ears for dancing, to be able to feel music and put it into dancing is something else, watch his 2pm house fancam (the stray kids performance version, not the dance cover he did, dance cover is great obviously, but the fancam shows it all) i get why hyunjin said that chan showed him how to feel music and put it into dancing or how to be sexy while dancing, we stays got to always remind him how amazing he is, he truly is so humble, he needs to be aware of it.

Everything about your analysis videos has me so absorbed and excited due to how informative and entertaining they are. Now I’m the happiest person ever to see a surprise analysis on bang Chan as a dancer because in my opinion he’s the most slept on all rounder and this analysis is evidence to that. I love how you relate dancers’ backgrounds and attributes to their dance because it explains a lot and gives us a better understanding in general on how dancing is so versatile and many sports can play a role in shaping dance moves in that way. I'm so glad you made this video. Chan is very recognized for his composing/lyric skills but so rarely do people see his singing and dancing skills!! I'm like guys this man was a trainee for SEVEN YEARS!! He is the BACKBONE of stray kids and not just bc he makes all their songs. He is a very solid and consistent performer from A to Z. I love you bang chan 😭 hes too humble!!!
This is a breath of fresh air, considering how I've seen so many analysis videos of skz where not only is he placed in the bottom, but sometimes very last as dancer. And even though I am no dancer myself, it made no sense to me. I think it might be due to several reasons. For one, Chan needlessly puts himself down a lot and calls himself a bad dancer. Two, he's not in danceracha. Three, people don't notice or appreciate his role as a dancer. They think his groundedness or him being the base often is a weakness, when it's not. Obviously he still has things to work on, but he is not a weak dancer. He does not dance like Hyunjin for example, but that is not a bad thing. Stray kids in general focuses on individualism a lot, that's what makes them all so fun to watch. How different they are.

Chan really is so talented at everything! Your analysis helped me understand what I found so compelling about him and why my eyes were first drawn to him when watching Stray Kids performances. He has a very powerful, "feral" style of dancing that complements his athleticism. His charisma and technique are the perfect balance. I hope to see him gain more confidence in his dance abilities. To me, he and Lee Know complement each other with very different styles that provide the foundation for Stray Kids performances.
I'm not surprised Chris is a impressive Dancer his lines are always perfect clean and clear but at the same time so cool and smooth. Wow I'm so late in finding this but thank you SO MUCH for recognizing Bang Chan's dance skills/style and illustrating them beautifully! I hope he sees this; he underrates himself so much (I assume because he's such an appreciator of so many in the industry - it's probably easy to compare yourself with your faves and find yourself lacking) and you show so effectively why his dance is not only mesmerizing but extremely effective at communicating the mood/emotion of the song. I'm now obsessed with this series and hope you continue!

His movement (esp his jumps) are very explosive…I remember being shook the first time I watched the MIROH mv, where he was at the center…he was very intense… they don’t call him “kangaroo” for nothing ❤ I really appreciate this analysis, can you do Stray Kids “Han Jisung” next? Hi. I love this video so much. I’m a new Stay and Chan’s one of the first guys to catch my eye. When I searched him and saw this analysis a few mos back , it further solidified my admiration. Thank you for the detailed effort you put in here. You have also been instrumental in my own self discovery. My peers and colleagues in my different careers have asked me time and time again why my stamina/energy is so high up when I’m dancing/performing. Even my fitness coaches ask me that. And it was through this vid that I realized it’s probably because of my swimming background. My swim coach told me I’m a powerful swimmer. Anyways, I’m just curious why Chan’s neck injury was not mentioned here? I’m really wondering if it affected his current dancing vs.his old one.
