How long did it take to make? PS. I discovered your tutorials not so long time ago and it is like a piece of gold for me 😊. I wanted to do something like that in the future, but didn't exactly know how. It's so inspiring 🤗
So much efforts go behind a few seconds shot....still such videos dont hv many views...this is pure talent and hard work, on top of that olof also tries to show us his process after such efforts..... really hats off
I hear people talk about watching art youtube videos in the background, but I've never actually done it myself until now. This is so relaxing and informative!
You are amazing! All your experience really shines through this videos, I love how you mix different techniques into this beutiful animations, using unexpected tools to great results.
Quick tip in Cinema4d! At 4:25 when you make the spline match your subdivided geometry - the easiest way to do that is make a copy of your geometry - select the Subdivision Surface and hit C to make it editable. Then you can hit U-L for loop selection (or you can manually select) the lines and once selected go to Mesh>Commands>Edge to Spline and it will create a perfect spline of your selected lines. Move the spline out from the parent and delete the editable geometry. Done!
Fantastic videos and great narration in your videos i like how u explore with the viewers how u think about and explore your process while also being informative of the technical aspects.
OKAY, I am out of word right now but you just make me happy seeing you making all this video like it's so easy but first of all, I don't have the patience to do like you, I would love too because since I was a kid I wanna be like that and work for Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks or open my own but I am 38 now and life took me away from my dream but every time I have seen a talented artist like you I feel like I will never be even near to that..... I need your advice please I really don't know what I have to do, but anyway, keep the amazing work up and keep moving forward, Peace.
Have you seen Amazon Prime's Undone? I think that's the style he's going for where he traces each video frame to create an animation. I'm sure if he just wanted any style animation, he could achieve that in c4d.
@@OlofStorm Hey man I may be a year too late but just curious, Couldn't you have used Blender instead of Cinema 4d? It goes well with Photoshop as well no?
This is awesome. I love the way you do it. I would create all this staff in 3d, spending a half of my life on modeling and the other half in rendering xD And there is so much simple way to do it. It looks really greate... or rather I would tell - perfect. Good job ! 🔥
I recall why I never progressed in blender - the equipment. 800Mhz PC just did not cut it. Crazy I was fortunate to have the software drop on my lap at such a young age.
like the workflow.. of using 3d in cinema4d to painting in photoshop and utilizing after effects also.. was watching a couple of your vids. did you go to shcool to learn any of this? or? I use photoshop a lot.. but not much for animation.. would like to try more..also just recently started dabbling in cinema4d but only for pretty specific ideas and i just look things up on youtube to learn.. I would love to learn cinema4d to be able to navigate around like you do.. guess i just got to put in the time.. anyways.. thanks for sharing! :)
