Perfect for kids. Dell did a good job there. Mics are actually amazing, camera and screen are a bit meh, but adequate for target users. Speakers a decent volume, which is needed too. Celeron should be not be offered in this. Non techy parents could easily make a bad purchasing choice. Great review!
Absolutely yes this laptop is fantastic for kids, I am hoping this new gen of Celeron and Pentium being release in 2021 will change that idea on performance and be respectable.
Great to hear that 747 Cuber, I haven't played with the 3190 yet myself but have good hopes for it being just as durable as it's 13" brother. Have you used the pen for your 2-in-1 yet?
Thank you Adambert, great to see my video is able to hopefully answer some questions and give you insight on this laptop =). I have never been to a google meet so didn't know it would be that rough?
@@BsianTech My current laptop has now an lcd problem which causes the screen to dim. Its been with me for almost 5 years and did not have any major repair. The problem about the lcd is getting worst whenever I join google meet.
@@adambert544 My guess is the blacklight for the LCD is slowly giving up it's pretty much a panel replacement if this is a thinkpad, look on the spare parts for that panel replacement, you can ask Lenovo what is the part number/code for that panel.
Actually my laptop is a lenovo ideapad 100. I only know now that it has a bad reviews🙂. Still I am thankful that it lasted with me for almost 5 yrs. Any thoughts if I should have replace the lcd considering that my laptop it is quite old. I am anxious that other problems will arise again after the repair.
Im on the ball between latitude or inspirion for my mom, i might be going for latitude since we had 2 latitudes and were very reliable to us. I here mixed reviews for inspirion. Also nice to see it having bit of rugged look.
Thanks @Abdur Rahman Ridwan, running Photoshop isn't too much an issue but video editing software will be basic like trimming, reordering and light color grading in 1080p and under. This laptop doesn't have discrete graphics to help out with smooth live realtime rendering of video effects and 4k footage.
I want it to use as a basic machine for my writing and drawing projects, as well as occasional web surfing, social media, music and games…because Im used to using my phone for most things internet. But I need something that is reliable and handles multitasking well.
Hi Scottscage, I would suggest to look for a 2-in-1 laptop so you can do drawing projects. The Latitude 3310 does have a 2-in-1 version that supports digital stylus. I would expect it to be very similar to the one review in this video beside the display can flip 360 to change it into tablet mode. I also suggest looking for the Intel Core i5 version as well for the processor.
My school just gave us these for teaching but I cannot find out if it is the version that works with a stylus? Does anyone here have any idea how I tell??
great laptop, but for the i3 i was 900 euro down,so not really affordable.BUT, for a highschooler like me, who does dumbb things, its pretty rugged(fell out of my backpack 2 stories down but survived, was like 10 meters).
We picked up the 3310 last year for our student. Seems to be a decent unit - so far. But, the storage(120gb) is full and I'll need to add to it. Is there a decent after market M2 I can add to it.....? Thanks
128gb storage these days isn't enough, I normally recommend 256GB as a minimum, even with running fully cloud storage it still likes to cache files on the hard drive. Personally I would lol at the SanDisk M.2 you don't have to go the Pro version of them 960evo or 970evo likes to go on special and should be able to pick them up for decent prices.
@@BsianTech Hey thanks. I thought I read the 256gb is the max size for the 3310(seems awful small for a newer system)...? The laptop was offered as a school/student $$ deal to the schools and deeply discounted by dell. The option spec was a one shot deal - the 128 was the only one available - I figured I'd swap it when the time came. I'm also under the assumption, from what I've read, the 2248 is the only one that physically fits in there....? Thanks (I totally agree the 120 is waaay too small, didn't realise it wouldn't take 500 or 1000 at the time)
It should work Sing Kit if it has it configured, if it does I would be looking at reinstalling the HID compliant drivers in device manager it might reboot the touch after restart.
i found one for 279 on microsoft. this is the link:www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/dell-latitude-3310-133-laptop/9030mrlsknkq?activetab=pivot%3aoverviewtab anyways, i’ll answer your question. It will fan up, just like any other computer, but as long as you don’t play for hours it’ll be more then fine.

I already have my dell latitude 3310 and I am very satisfied with the purchased.

@@BsianTech very durable from its look and feel. It was a right decision to buy dell latitude. Thank you for such very honest review of the product.

@bsiantech Thank you! Do you know a compatible active stylus for the 3310 2-in-1?
hi thanks for the informayive video
do you think i can use it for university
Is the storage upgradable? Mine is nearing the full storage.
Which one is faster i3 or the i5, u said some about celeron i5 being slower in the end of the video
This model inbuilt keyboard light?
does anyone know what pen is compatible with it?

my dell laptop latitude 3310 unremovable battery can i play while plugged in?
Is Dell latitude 3310 laptop support 1 SSD hard drive capacity ?
Please let me know
mine was also dell 3310, is it really touch screen?
Did you use it for online classes? How was it?

Can i play it with Leage of Legends and Visual Novel.

It should work Sing Kit if it has it configured, if it does I would be looking at reinstalling the HID compliant drivers in device manager it might reboot the touch after restart.
Is this okay for AutoCAD and Sketch up?
The Latitude 3310 may not be powerful enough to run AutoCAD, I would be looking at the Latitude 5411 instead.
I have one for school
is it good? and the battery?
Is it also suitable for college students?
It might do okay all depends on the subjects are you taking Shaiii?
Can I charge it from usb-c?
Yes you can charge the laptop using the usb-c port.
Pen?
Depends on the model. There is one that is non-touch screen and non-backlit keyboard, that's what I have actually.
So when you play roblox will it fan up alot? (i know it's a stupid question)

Sure, if the battery is having issues and out of warranty just disconnect the battery and run it off mains power only.
any idea if this one has a keyboard backlight?
It all depends if it was configured with backlight or not as these are optional so I would check with the seller
@@BsianTech the enhancement package is not suitable for my model. There is no backlight I think because there definitely isn’t a keyboard shortcut
