What a lovely lady Kimberly is. I felt an instant connection as I lost my youngest daughter 18 months ago a week after her 20th birthday and I have been hiding away from the world not socialising or going out, spending my days in bed or in my PJ's as I am still grieving over losing her. I must go to her channel and learn from her how to live again.

She’s made a conscious decision to choose really living life which I do admire. Big hugs to you and thank you for sharing your story. I’m sure your baby girl was beautiful and is now at rest 😘

Kimberly mentioned it once, in one sentence. In a q & a. I gasped. I knew this what Jo was alluding to the other day when she announced this video. But this was so honest and raw that I had to pause the screen to get a tissue. The highest form of shining a light on others in pain. Wow! My heart is full with her reaching out and someone lost in grief will hear ❤……. We are all in this life together.

Hello from Ohio, I get it Kimberly after experiencing such great loss of a loved one, you have to make a choice to either sink or swim. When you began your RUclips channel you felt you had nothing to lose because you had already experienced great loss. I lost my sweet husband, suddenly and I too watched RUclips and knitted for about a year, I watch your channel now because at 66 yo myself I can relate so much to you and you too Jo, loss comes in many ways but I believe it teaches us how strong and resilient we are and that’s a great realization to living a full life alone in this world. Keep on filming ladies❤️❤️!!

Great interview! So moved by Kimberly’s story of tremendous sadness and her healing journey. Life eventually beats up all of us in one way or another; it’s how we chose to respond that is the difference between despair and resignation and resilience and joy. I strive for the latter, but find it increasingly difficult in today’s world. But, I won’t give in to the negativity all around. Thank you, both, for being such delightful, strong, vulnerable, smart, engaging, loving and generous women 💚

Wow. It really does not get any better than this interview. I have followed both you and Kimberly separately over the years, and it's absolute kismet that you eventually connected. I followed you, Jo, initially because I'm a London gal that still misses her hometown desperately since I moved to America 25 years ago and look forward to that Sunday morning, date. I followed Kimberly because she remains one of the most real and authentic RUclips bloggers out there, and her skincare tips are some of the best around and have helped me enormously. However, this was one of the most profoundly moving and brilliant interviews ever. From Kimberly's searing honesty and sharing the loss of her beautiful daughter, Grace with us all, and why she started her channel to help her navigate such unspeakable grief; to you as such a kind and thoughtful interviewer. Such a respectful listener. I hope Kimberly comes to London to visit you. Let's hope you can 'put the kettle on'' for her soon. What a riot that would be! 😍xoxo

I’m sooo grateful to both of you! 🥰🥰I am actually a follower of you both, and became so probably because of my RUclips searches during Covid lockdowns in Melbourne Australia ( we had pretty much 18 months of being locked in 😏) for “help over 50” ! So as with every cloudy day there is the silver lining of the sunshine of pretty over 50 and our dear middle aged minx shining through 🤩!!WOW!! TODAYS CHAT BETWEEN THE 2 OF YOU WAS SO BRILLIANT ON SO MANY LEVELS!! Feeling part of a conversation between 2 such lovely people talking about the swings and roundabouts of life with all it’s curve balls and yawning chasms… so incredibly brave to give so much of yourselves for the benefit of others😍❤❤❤❤ with much gratitude 🙏🏽 🙌🏼💗💕💕💕💕💕💕

Thanks for a terrific interview Jo-have followed you for years. I have also followed Kimberly -almost from her start and so appreciate her sharing her story with you. Had no idea she had such sorrow and sadness in her life as she has always radiated peace and joy on her channel. It is wonderful this platform has given her healing and hope. Your conversation was like being in a conversation with dear friends. Thank you both🥰🥰🥰

I'm close to 49 this year and I'm learning so much from you two already; about fun, about life and about not giving up. It's a privilege to be a follower. Love from Mexico City.

Aiken, SC is the best kept secret. Isolated small town but close enough to the mountains & the coast & historic Charleston that you can do day trips when you need a change of scenery. I'm glad Kimberly found Aiken, SC & her RUclips community.

    Wonderful interview Jo.
Kimberley, Sorry about your loss. I’m glad that this community gave you a sense of purpose. I’m sure your daughter would’ve been proud of you. I know grief is difficult to talk about. I was married, pregnant, and widowed in the same year. And, in those fifty years, I think about him quite often, but never really talk about that part of my life with anyone. People just have to handle grief in their own way. But, it is a surprise, I would have never guessed because of your warm and easy going smile.
Anyway, I admire both of you women so much. It’s such a sweet friendship, across the pond, as they say. Of course, it’s fun to watch women closer to my age, I’m 75, so both of you are younger than me, with your make up tips, etc. Love, Jo’s fashion flair. You’ve both have had such a big influence on me and I’m sure others.

Wow 😮❤ what an amazing interview 😊so touching, it had me in tears as I know that pain of losing a child 😭 My precious son passed Sept 2020 following a 5 yr battle with cancer, he leaves behind my precious little granddaughter who was 4, now just turned 6. I think you tube is my escapism from the pain but what a wonderful world it is out there when you follow such honest, creative and artistic females creating such brilliant content for us, their loyal subscribers. Thank you both for being there, you’re such an inspiration 😊 xx

Lovely to be a part of you lovely interview with Kimberly. I have followed her for 2 half years & had no idea of her inner sadness. I cried as she relayed her tragic story. I always said my face collapsed when my mother passed away so I can understand why she saw so many lines when she immersed from under her grief. I hope Jo that you get your wish of subscribers & hope my I click helps. I have watched & giggles when you have been with Nadine & look forward to seeing you more frequently now. Thank you for the interview & I really enjoyed it😘
