⁴ᴷ Last Days of Interim R160 (A) Train Service

In June 2020, two R179 cars separated while in service resulting in the grounding of the entire fleet. To fill the gaps left by the R179s, R46s from the (A) went to the (C) line, R160s from the (F) went to the (A) line, and R32s were reactivated and sent to the (J/Z) in addition to spare R143s and R160s. With all R179s back in service, December 7th marked the last day of the R160s being temporarily assigned to Pitkin Yard. The last consist, seen in this video, was 8828-8832+9128-9132. Here are some shots I took a few months back combined with the shots I took of the last consist the Friday before it got taken out of service.
