I was a cast member for years and now live very far from the parks. I won't get to visit this year I really needed a little time in my park. This video reminds me of one of my favorite park activities, taking yourself out of the moment and watching everyone else enjoying the magic around them. Thank you for making that happen
I come back to this video every time I need something to idly listen to while drawing, I love it! Hearing all the conversations in the background is a real treat because honestly, I love listening to other people talk about their lives while waiting in line at DL. It's so entertaining! Also: about 1/3 of the way through this video to the end I've been diligently listening for the next time I'll hear "chatty Cathy" again every time I put this video on. Thanks for making this, it definitely makes life a little sweeter!
Soooo....I had to download this(flash drive and everything). Its basically my happy place whenever I need an escape. Thank you for putting this together for us disney nerds 🤙
It isn't until you move far, far away from Anaheim where you can hear fireworks every night in the distance, can pop into the park just for dinner and a shopping, or think perfectly manicured grounds are normal... then you realize the happiest place on earth really is magical in some synergistic way.
I have played this video in my home and around family so frequently over the years that the monorail kid heard at 2:30 is such a frequent inside joke in my life, my siblings and I particularly enjoy quoting it on the regular. can't believe this video is still so under the radar! it's incredible for ambience.
I wish we could! RUclips doesn't allow updating of videos. However, we did do another one, in Star Wars land! It's right here: ruclips.net/video/DXb9dtJEzJI/видео.html
Thank you for this, I’m only a couple minutes in and this has brought me to tears. Going to Disney is something that’s not a possibility right now, but I know this video will help me until I can get back to the park!
Pretty Cool.....us out of towners get to have more enjoyment in the future now that Disney is no longer going to allow the loitering locals to come for dollars on a dime unless they pay big time prices. We have wanted this for years....a silver lining with covid.
I hope I can finally visit someday within a few years, once I have the money and it's all safe to go places again... Every time I see Disneyland, it's so beautiful... ;w; I want to visit in early June, when the weather will be warm but still agree with me, the crowds and wait times will be manageable, and the park's hours have extended to their max! ♥
Water is such a natural kinetic marvel and yet Disney seems to constantly seek alternatives to it. None which actually do a better job, but might possibly hold the title of more environmentally friendly.
You truly have some exquisite photography going on here, particularly with the Mark Twain and the Rivers of America. Absolutely beautiful shots. As someone who once fancied himself as an amateur park documentarian who used to capture similar imagery with a VHS camcorder and Super 8, I recognize the good stuff when I see it. I was also having fun trying to determine your vantage point on various shots here and there. Very effective use of your zoom too. You have a good eye. I'd love to know what you shot it on. Extremely well done. Keep it up!
So how late did you have to stay to get those shots when everything was completely empty and silent? Were the cast members urging you to leave or did they let you take your time?
I actually didn't have to stay super late, and it was a bunch of different nights right after closing. I would pick the ride with the longest wait time in the land that I wanted to shoot. Then I entered that line at 11:55p to make sure I was one of the last in line, and therefore in the land after the ride was done. Disneyland security is super nice and as long as you're moving towards the exit, they were ok with it.
This video is amazing, thank you!!! 2 questions... Where are you filming at 34:35? I've never seen that room before. And at 35:07 with the roller coaster model?
The first one is the Beauty and the Beast Library, it's buried deep inside the Animation Building in DCA. The second location is the Blue Sky Cellar, only sometimes open. It's somewhat near the entrance to Cars Land in DCA.
@@nicksolan It's a DSLR with strong 4K Video features. This was shot and edited in 4K, and you can crank it all the way up to 4K here on youtube as well.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this video!!
"it's the monorail! it's the monoraaail!" 😂🚅🥰
2:31 love it🤙
HAHA I read this as the Simpsons... Monorail episode!! Then I heard the kid :D LMAO!

So glad you enjoy this and can't wait to make more!
Wake up and pay attention to it , some of the best shots anywhere.
This is putting me to sleep in the best way, I've never felt more at peace.
If this video ever gets removed, we riot.
Abience captured. Got some good sunsets 🥰
The end is the best where everything is quiet and empty. Love it.
Empty and closing Disneyland is certainly very interesting and different from the busy daytime! Glad you like it!
Beautiful video. You found perfect places to capture the atmosphere and those places were without area music too. Just pure Disneyland and DCA.
So good! All the favorite scenes mashed into one video.
This is one of the best Disneyland videos I’ve seen, if not the best! Going in my Disney playlist! ❤️
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed.

Thanks! Just a Panasonic Lumix G7 with a rode mic ontop :)

Panasonic G7. Glad you liked it!
Metahelion is it more of a video camera or photography ?

Was the camera on a gimbal? Or was it all handheld? Also what were your low light settings?
46:50
Why do I hear someone that sounds like my mom?
New ride history disneyland. VIP tickets tour both
How did you get to stay after it closed? Do you work there?
I don't work there. Just be the last person in line for a ride when the park closes. This took multiple trips :D
@@Metahelion Nice. Well awesome video! I miss it so much
"and an open water"
For all you fuckers that basically live in Disneyland, now that we’re dealing with the Corona Virus, this is all you can get. XD
