In the scene were Melanie’s old body is being stabbed by what I think is 9 swords, the description you read reminds me of the meaning of VOID in which Melanie is trapped in their own negative thoughts and she’s helpless

(Not so) fun fact: the dress that the dead crybaby is wearing is a dress that Melanie wore in a photo shoot she did with her no ex bf Oliver tree. Fans thought Melanie was happy in the relationship but after it was over they revealed that it was pretty toxic bc Oliver had an awful personality, also some fans theorized that some songs in portals contain references to him

12:06 Actually, the rib cage is a real set piece, but everything else is CGI, which is crazy because they filmed this in a bright green grassy place, and made it look gloomy and dead!

It’s actually ten of swords in the death music video. If you zoom in you can count 10 swords. Some are stacked over the other.
10 of swords also means Painful endings, deep wounds, betrayal, loss, crisis. Which contributes to the message of rebirth and healing yourself from wounds, betrayal and loss.

KRAVEN, I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS. also... that big ribcage is actually real. the rest of the set had CGI additions like the skull but the ribcage was done in a practical way. the little island is real as well but the cave around it is cgi. loved the video, hope you're having a great time reacting to all of these incredible artistic videos that melanie is able to bring up to life.

The scene in the giant rib cage is actually not CG which was quite surprising to me, they added the giant skull and the fog in post to really make it look surreal, you can find some behind the scenes footage from them shooting it

The skeleton she was dancing on was a practical effect. I think remember seeing a "Behind the Scenes" video about that specific part on tiktok. Also, I think that the idea of the Skeleton is to represent Cry Baby's old body after it got decomposed.
