I believe the heavy effect/distortion is to symbolise what someone under the influence hears

From my understanding, Faerie Soirée is about going on a journey of light drugs. She mentions "They said: I know how to make you go crazy every day, Tease your mind and trick you, you really want to stay. I know a way to make you lose your pace. If you wanna ride with the magic lose sight of the gravity of weight." It to me all sounds like someone giving another person light drugs and Melanie describes this experience as a fun faerie soiree. It's just my interpretation but I think it really fits! You also kind of got the meaning of Battle of the Larynx! It's actually about using your words and wits to win arguments instead of "barking" as Melanie puts it.
Another thing about pluto: its not just astrology, it mythology as well. Pluto is the roman name for Cronos the greek god of time who devours his children so they wont take his place in the throne, its a metaphor for “time kills all its children, time kills us all in the end”. But in this case Melanie is bringing a new interpretation ASKING pluto/cronos to devour her so she can be reborn into something new.
MIlk of the Siren is still so relevant today. Women are STILL being attacked in so many ways. I applaud Melanie for being so aggressive with her lyrics. She is a true artist!!
Light Shower is bittersweet because of light and darkness being in love and loving yourself makes you go through and live. It's my absolute favorite on the album.

The void music video is actually about cry baby traveling around a human body which is disturbing and cool at the same time but I love your idea of the door coming closer to her. It would fit perfectly with the end of k-12. Love your vids 😊

You got it all right in PLUTO!! there is just some lil things in the songs can represent a transformation or moving on in a new chapter in your life spiritually and fisically, ALSO! in the minute 2:22 it's when the crazy drum beat drops (meaning pluto is metaphoric killing her) since 222 in angels numbers also means having a change and transform you into a new version of yourself, hope that helps to understand the song better! 💕

I found interesting how you perceived Milk of the Siren as a sensual song, for me it was not like that at all XD For me, this song is one of the most visual ones I've ever heard from Mel. When I listen to it, I see a world in medieval-like times, a girl born of the last sirens on the land who has lost so much to humanity. At first starting as a young, naive soul, then becoming a vengeful individual led on by the bloodthirst of her predecessors who through whispers calm her down and away from her fear of murder; "nothing wrong with a little havoc" "don't feel bad when these fuckers all drown". The end feels like the siren, after living life amongst humanity, finally goes back to where she belongs, leaving a trail of blood behind. This song to me is haunting, mysterious, and even poetic. The way it entranced me when I first heard it is something I'll never forget, same with tunnel vision (a song I could never shut up about so let's not get into it XD), these two songs give me exactly what I want in a musical piece: blind visuals, a narrative story, danceable tunes with a hint of evil on the side. This album wrapped me up in a creative loop, and I hope I never unwrap myself 😂💖

Evil I can relate to in a weird way I don’t know how to explain but my so called “best friend” mistreats me, is a jerk, is fake, toxic, and belittles me. For me when I listen to evil I almost think “Trusting you was lethal” or thinking of me refusing to her about something. Melanie’s songs really help me be more confident in my self and try to cut out the toxic people in my life.

I found interesting how you perceived Milk of the Siren as a sensual song, for me it was not like that at all XD
For me, this song is one of the most visual ones I've ever heard from Mel. When I listen to it, I see a world in medieval-like times, a girl born of the last sirens on the land who has lost so much to humanity. At first starting as a young, naive soul, then becoming a vengeful individual led on by the bloodthirst of her predecessors who through whispers calm her down and away from her fear of murder; "nothing wrong with a little havoc" "don't feel bad when these fuckers all drown". The end feels like the siren, after living life amongst humanity, finally goes back to where she belongs, leaving a trail of blood behind.
This song to me is haunting, mysterious, and even poetic. The way it entranced me when I first heard it is something I'll never forget, same with tunnel vision (a song I could never shut up about so let's not get into it XD), these two songs give me exactly what I want in a musical piece: blind visuals, a narrative story, danceable tunes with a hint of evil on the side. This album wrapped me up in a creative loop, and I hope I never unwrap myself 😂💖

Evil I can relate to in a weird way I don’t know how to explain but my so called “best friend” mistreats me, is a jerk, is fake, toxic, and belittles me. For me when I listen to evil I almost think “Trusting you was lethal” or thinking of me refusing to her about something. Melanie’s songs really help me be more confident in my self and try to cut out the toxic people in my life.

But also, once you earn your fame you can’t get rid of it, you’ll die famous, in the pit of the spider web.
