- The Historic Centre of Bukhara is listed as UNESCO World heritage Site: "Bukhara, which is situated on the Silk Route, is more than 2,000 years old. It is the most complete example of a medieval city in Central Asia, with an urban fabric that has remained largely intact. Monuments of particular interest include the famous tomb of Ismail Samani, a masterpiece of 10th-century Muslim architecture, and a large number of 17th-century madrasas." I love Islamic art. It's so different to western art, and their script is just beautiful. Their traditional music once your ear becomes accustomed to it is such a delight to listen to. However the geometry and sophistication of their visual art on buildings is to die for. When your faith does not allow figurative art, all that's left is geometry, and the complexity of it is astounding.

In Islamic art it is only about *almighty*...Personal feelings are just a *stir in the cup*
"Islamic art" the concept is extensible: from the Alhambra in Spain, the Ottoman style in Turkey, the Arab in the Arab world, such as the one in the video in Iran and parts of Central Asia. In Kyrgyzstan, completely different mosques. In Russia, others. There is no single Islamic world. In Islam, and the Persians and Arabs and Turkics, in Africa, in southeast asia etc.

There is no religious art, it is a Persian art with mixture of Turkic art. Credit must goes to persian & Turkic culture.

@@idrislamont1064 Islamic came from Arabs. But persians are culturally & scientifically more advanced, built magnificent architecture even before advent of Islam. Geometry is existed there even at the time of greeks which is 2500 years. Events ancient Indian mathematicans, architecture's & scientists contributed much in 2000 years. Read about Gupta empire. Persians just continued there knowledge it in the time of Islamic rule.

What do you mean by Islamic architecture, actually the Arabs and the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him were nomads, they did not build cities. And the architectural style of Central Asia was formed due to the mixing of the cultures of Iran India and China
