my main toon is a nord dk ww when the game started i was doing great but a few 100 nerfs later not so much any ideas you can give me to help him out ;)
Hi, another great video. Simple to understand, pros and cons for each class and under 30 min. Looking forward for magicka classes. Happy new year and keep up the good work there!
I absolutely love the skill selection you chose for this test. 1. its the same ones i use. and 2. you make it very clear what your goal is from using each skill. I've always loved your content. You make fantastic builds and are very clear on how to do things.
I’m new to the game. Was leveling a stamina necro and what you said was very accurate. I was finding it difficult to keep up blastbones every 3 seconds. I was losing track of other buffs, etc. You just talked me into starting a nightblade! Especially for the last comment about questing! Thanks!
Necro's are a class you have to spend time on I main a magcro and repetition and time spent on any rotation on any class to be honest will eventually end up in you being comfortable with it... Just takes time to build up the muscle memory all the classes are fun in their own ways if you play long enough you'll end up having all the classes in your arsenal! Enjoy!
Lol, haven't played in so long but saw this and decided to watch. Glad I did, lots of memories flooded back, your channel and builds were always appreciated and glad you're back. And you're now a family man with better health, Happy new year to you sir and may you and yours receive everything you wish for and need. Who knows maybe I'll even drop in for a new alt run to max for fun, though last time I played the pvp sucked, big time and just running around killing mobs and gathering got a bit boring, my storage is maxed out and full even with my max number of tons and the monthly sub, lol . . . I guess I'd have to get a new account unless they've added char slots. Yeah, sort of an alt-aholic . . .
Great video! I started really getting into the game a few months ago and took up the stam Warden recently and I’ve never done more damage. Enemies just seem to disintegrate at the mere sight of my woodland creatures. I love these comparison type videos so I’m excited to see a list for magicka based classes!
My main toon is a Nord DK, and the usual stuff that I use on overland solo is Tzogvin's, Briarheart, Bloodspawn Helmet, Pale Order, and Thunderous Volley, but when I go solo Dungeons, I swap the Tzogvin's to Vicious Serpent.
As a DK main I completely agree with the play-style being pigeonholed. Every class can benefit from charged daggers with flame and poison daggers, but DK depends on it. On the front bar a charged and nirhoned dagger with infused 2h back bar with give you slightly better sustain then double 2h and much higher damage. On the back bar, two infused dagger, and a charged 2h with be on par with double 2h, but provide wildy better sustain because you will be reappling poisoned and burning every 2 seconds if not every second. Also using molten whip on this set up work wonders as your single target spammable, providing a massive hit at max stacks or additional weapon damage when using carve to clear packs of enemies. The flame enchant on the daggers allow you to sustain with whip with little effort, as well as take pressure off your stamina sustain.
@@Ianno-xj9ib If I'm solo I like to use a 2h charged maul on the front bar, and the black rose prison dual wield with two infused daggers that have a poison and flame enchant on the back bar. I mix and match the sets I use, but recently I've been using pillar of nirn and sul-xan in solo. But almost all set that are considered good for Stam work, but I will mention that heartland conqueror is actually very effective on a DK starting out. Skill wise I will have my frontbar loaded with venomous claw, stampede, carve, molten whip, executioner. On my back I will run blade cloak, flames of oblivion, noxious breath, molten whip, and either vigor or beast trap. This set up lets me build up full stacks of hated, allowing me to do big damage when I start my whip spam, and because blade cloak is constantly applying poisoned and burning you have both consistent dots with massive resource return.
I sort of stumbled onto the Templar class when I bought the base game w/ Morrowind and then went the Stamplar route after watching a few videos. As a father and working man, I have limited time to play, so it’s gonna be my one character so guides like this are helpful so I can see what I’m supposed to be doing. What doesn’t surprise me is my DPS (in DND I’m the tank) is low so I need help.
A low dps could be from a number of things, gear/passives/skills that have additional efffects/what you're trying to fight, and the list can go on. Deltia is a great templar both magicka and stamina. Just look through his channel and find what he says, after a few videos you'll being to see a pattern with a templar. buff, buff, shield, jab, light attack, jab, light attack, jab light attack, then what ever skill you like to use for restoring your resources. Also the way you set up your skill bars can influence your dps. for example if you have a mix between short duration effects and long duration effects on the same bar and also your other bar it can be difficult to maintain a high dmg due to having to juggle the upkeep times.
Great vid bro! Only issue i have with magica is i dont want to take a stick to a fight, i wast a 2h sword so i at least look like i can bring some hurt! 😂
Looks like I need to dust off my stamblade! Definitely agree about it being one of the coolest classes thematically. Who doesn't want to be a ninja boi/girl?
great video . Im going to try this gear set up on my NB. I'd like to see a similar video on Magicka based builds if youve got the time or inclination. Thanks you!
Great vid and very informative. Dragonknight may be the only option for me. I hate PVP and razor caltrops is locked behind it. I would love to see magicka builds.
Also worth mentioning that this is with the exact same gear Loadout and skill Loadout on all of the classes. This is not a rating for the classes. If you use them properly they can all be just as effective as the other. Also just because the combustion passive exist does not mean you have to run charged traits. And finally it is not pigeonholed into only using certain set. If you start changing the type of weapon and the traits and the skills and all those other aspects you will find that you can make very cohesive powerful build. Remember that this guide is just showing the easiest way to use the setup that he has chosen. I absolutely nuke things with my stamina dragonknight which is a slight modification to a version that another content creator made.
The sustain on charged dk is substantial. That's all he meant by it. If your running 2 crit sets like tsogvin and relequen you probably want to go charged just for solo aspects
I don't recommending transmuting, I recommend reconstructing. The reason for this is that if you want to deconstruct this at any point you will always get 25 crystals back from a reconstructed piece and nothing back from a transmuted piece.
My main is stam 2h and its a killer when it comes to solo. Also brawler is a great morph instead of carve if you want to go for extra surivivability which the netch can help sustain really well.
Great vid as always Deltia! Definitely would like the same for mag classes! Love the amount of detail you put in.. one question though are you running Hundings and briarhart as a level playing field for this vid and testing and usually run other sets for your stamina classes? Eg relequens, kinras, tzovgin etc?
So what would be the ultimate choice for a beginner? Templar, sorcerer or nightblade? Maybe in consideration of using only one bar. Happy new year for you all and thanks in advance!
I prefer Templar because you get a heal, damage right away. Sorc is fantastic too because your pet can do most of the worth for you. If it's truly one bar, Templar, power of the light, barb trap, repetence, biting jabs, honor the dead or vigor.
I just converted my stamina night blade to use no night blade skills except incap strikes. When I get the fighters guild ultimate I will use that. Just needed to try something different.
19:39 cmon deltia don't ignore stam sorc that way :( bound armaments is incredibly close to that skill. 8% max stamina, 4 LAs grant a FAT damage ability over half a second for incredibly cheap
Do you have videos of yout solo builds? I would really like to watch them! And get more in dept into the builds without having to “read” it from the website.
Some I do, I started doing more "trials" dungeon PvE builds. I'll convert back to more solo friendly once the next update hits. I have a bunch of VMA and Vateshran runs. Like this: ruclips.net/video/mjp1Ljv_fzs/видео.html
Would you say stamina toons are in a better spot in coordinated groups? My guild talked me into going magicka for good reasons half a year ago (the healers dropped Mag-oriented buffs). I'm not aware of recent changes as I took a few months long break.
This is awful and Deltia should do better. This video is a mix of click bait and personal agenda. He’s cherry picking things to fit the “shocking” order. The king of solo is sorc, followed by something like necro, templar, DK and dead LAST is nightblade. Warden is somewhere middle or higher not sure as I don’t play that class. Nightblades have, by far, the worst leveling experience, which for some reason is not mentioned. It makes no sense that Deltia’s main reason for NB’s ranking is highest DPS when this is a solo PVE ranking, not group. Maybe with ring of the pale order NB is above average but then Deltia says this all about same gear with NO mythics. I’m not even sure what “solo” means here, a better test would have been vMA or a vet dungeon solo. I’ve watched Deltia off and on for years, before he quit and tried to be a health guru or something and only saw him play nightblade once ever where he endlessly complained about the buff upkeep. Stop the click bait, stop trying to get classes you hate nerfed and even worse get new players on the wrong path. There are other content creators today with far more honest content.
Hope you enjoyed this . Hit that like 👍 and leave me a comment if you want me to do the same for magicka builds!
