I like George but have had unpleasant experiences in his restaurants. I didn’t want it be like this but I got the feeling that he was just after the money. I had a surprise 40th at one of his restaurants in Kew. My wife organised it. I didn’t know much about it. During the event the manager came up to me and my wife and she told us that George is sitting downstairs eating dinner if you want him to come upstairs for an appearance it will cost $10k. We politely declined. We didn’t expect to see him but even if he wanted to come upstairs and promote himself and his business to spread the “Love” like he says his folks had taught him. I don’t think so.

George! Your absolutely right! I , I’m in my late 50s , I remember as a child , my parents had a take away on parramatta road , stanmore in the late 1970s when I was just a little boy! Their food was so good ! They had the best steak burgers around and people would eat on the side walk sitting on the old milk crates!
