Totally agreed O_O Is such a shift in the tutorial lol I was like 'woah, woah not even at .025 playback I can see the keyboard inputs and menu items selected
@@realfaker I think i figured it out! it seems to have something to do with the "Merge" distance on the mirror modifier. My extrude doesn't look as smooth as yours
although they're called "gaming chair" there is no such a thing as a "gaming chair"... the whole concept of such a tool existing should make people cringe xD this should be called "rally seat inspired chair", and btw ironically I find them uncomfortable for gaming xD "good chairs" are 100 times better

the subdevision surface modifier makes the face where the vertices meet when they are mirrored round and spaced apart :( any idea why?
Hello Karim, I need to see a screenshot to help you out

bro can you tell me how to be this good in modeling?
At around 9:25 im getting some artifacts around the head rest area when i extrude, like a ring of "squares"
If you need a screenshot , where should i send iy
Wait guys I got the answer you need to recalculate normals outside
Hello can you help me? i had a problem with the objects, when i extrude em together like 9:16 can you explain this step?
check the face orientation
7:30 why my edges don't feel so smooth like in the video ? I did everything like him
He just hid the modifier in the viewport
@@streetfood1981 Nah, if i remember correct, at the time i didn't know about the normals facing direction, so that's caused some issues
