    Sick deck profile bud, love to see a 60 card pile. should consider doing a test hand/combo video to teach people the common lines you see in this deck

    Have you considered playing Allure of Darkness or Pot of Avarice? What do you think of them as options in the 60 card build?

    • @SonFtw_
      @SonFtw_  Год назад +1

      Allure wouldn’t work in my build because I don’t play enough dark monsters. I would have to change the deck a lot and play more engine to be able to play Allure and I’d rather just play more non engine. Avarice is good but I’d rather play more engine that’ll help me advance my plays and be able to play through hand traps.

      @@SonFtw_ Also, do u feel that 19 is a bit too much of non engine? Do u not brick?

    • @SonFtw_
      @SonFtw_  Год назад +1

      Not necessarily I’m playing 41 engine cards so it’s pretty rare that I brick on all non engine but it can happen sometimes. Also u just need the non engine to be able to go 2nd and not just auto lose. There’s also good amount of 1 card starters in the deck which helps a lot with consistency.

      @SonFtw_  Год назад +1

      In all the rounds I played in this tournament I didn’t brick once, I got to play every game. My one loss was because I didn’t draw enough non engine going 2nd into an oppressive board.

      @@SonFtw_ What were your match-ups?

    I’ve been trying 2 droplets in the main (i cut 1 crossout and 1 talents) been doing good work but i wanted to ask yout thoughts on droplets

    • @SonFtw_
      @SonFtw_  11 месяцев назад

      I personally haven’t tried droplet, but I play dark ruler and thrust in my side deck which I think would be better for my deck specifically. The issue with droplet is that I also play hand traps and other engine cards that require me to discard cards, so I feel like it would make it awkward if I played too many other non engine cards that also require me to discard because I’m already going 2nd with fewer cards and sometimes you need all your cards to be able to play.

    Quick question. Could you tell me which cards in your side you switch with your main deck? Do you side out the Patchwork engine or something else?

    • @SonFtw_
      @SonFtw_  11 месяцев назад +1

      I usually side out 1 edge imp, 1 patchwork, 1 cartesia, 1 albaz, 1 deployment, depending on the matchup I sometimes side out Crossout and other non engine cards if they’re not great into whatever I’m playing against.

      @@SonFtw_ I played with this deck the last week. I struggled extremely ahainst Mannadium because of Baronne, Dispatter and Chengying. Having superpoly in your hand with a 60 card deck is hard. Additionally I found that siding cards was almost unnoticed becaus e of the big number. Could you please make an update video? Maybe some more tips? Thank you so much! Love the Deck!

      What I changed was 3 Fenrir instead of 1 fusion deployment 1 patchwork and 1 imp. Then instead of hex I added the Dark Magician and indstead of the Granguignol I added the berfomet with the foolish burial effect to send Anubis..

    • @SonFtw_
      @SonFtw_  11 месяцев назад +1

      That’s just out of your control. Losing games against oppressive combo decks because u didn’t see the right non engine cards is just a part of the game. Yeah I definitely need to do an updated deck profile soon because I’ve recently cut down the size of the deck a little bit mainly because of not seeing my non engine or side deck cards enough.

    • @SonFtw_
      @SonFtw_  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah I like fenrir also. I don’t particularly like dark magician very much because the discard for lubellion can be very costly sometimes especially because there’s several other cards in the deck that require discarding cards so it just makes it awkward sometimes. I’m glad you like the deck, it’s definitely a lot of fun.

    Whatd you reckon youd cut for the second albion ?

      I cut a guardian chimera and added a 2nd Albion recently

  • @Leclwrd

    Playing a big branded engine is totally the way to go in this deck. You punish them so hard if they ash your mirrorknight while you have any of your branded starters, and if they save it for the branded fusion then you get a full chimera play + whatever else you drew. Win Win.
    I'm running a similar list but with a smaller patchwork engine.
    Basically -1 of each card, and replacing it with 3x fenrir. I find that fenrir does a lot of the same work as the patchwork cards by providing discard fodder and fusion fodder on board.
    That way you lower the odds of opening multiple patchwork cards, which gets pretty high when you're running 8, while adding 3 more vital board breakers which a 60 card deck really needs to see.
    Also, have you tried master tao? I find I can get away with running him as a boarderline brick in a 60 card deck, and he allows your chimera plays to playthrough imperm when you open a bunch of chimera cards.

    • @SonFtw_
      @SonFtw_  Год назад

      Master tao is definitely a neat card, I tested it for a bit and didn’t really like it and there’s nothing I’d cut for it. The big patchwork engine normally works well and I never really brick on it since I’m playing 60 cards. It just really helps with playing through hand traps and playing into boards going 2nd and it supplements both the chimera engine and branded engine really well. I like fenrir too I may consider trying it out.
