  • I finished Top 8 (6th overall) out of over 500 players at the Los Angeles Regionals on June 8, 2024 with an overall 8-1 record.
Here, I show my 60-card branded chimera deck list, go over the rationale and deck building decisions, and provide a tournament report of the 9 Swiss rounds.

Great stuff bro! I'm definitely going to try this build. Can you share siding patterns? What are the cards you typically take out of your engine to get more room going 2nd?

Congrats dude, its an amazing achievement. I also love the deck profile as it matches my playstyle, as well. Looking forward to more content from you.

Thanks! I wasn't planning on it for this build but it is something I've been floating around in my head for future videos.

What do you think of playing Grass in this build?

Great question! So this build itself does not benefit much from grass. The chimera cards don't leverage the graveyard set-up very well. Typically, branded despia (because of the despia cards) will make better use out of graveyard setup. I plan on trying out a 60-card branded despia version with grass and some tearlaments monsters for additional fusion utility. I don't envision the chimera cards will make the cut if I play something like that.
