Spell card soul exchange definitely seems like a cool card in this deck especially with thrust I'll give it a try. 2 dreaming town was really good for me, you should consider it.

I'm not really into the Fiendsmith cards or this format, so I haven't been playing much or testing many different decks lately.

I was playing foolish at one point as an additional name, and my deck was 43 cards, but I felt like the deck was consistent enough with drawing names, and I didn’t feel the need to keep playing foolish. So I cut it to bring the deck size down so I can have a higher chance of drawing non engine. Foolish burial also loses very hard to bystials. Called by is good too, but I’d rather just play other non engine cards.

All the main deck monsters have earth attributes, sometimes it comes up for Selene accesscode lines.

I’ve never tried super poly in this deck, but I’m sure it’s a good option because the extra deck is very flexible and you can really diversify your super poly options.

Should be good blind seconding especially. run Garura, Mudragon, Dragostepalia, and you could even put Yubel LDF in the Side to surprise any Yubel Decks you encounter.

Drytron Nova is the only 1 card starter in the deck, and I believe it’s a mandatory 3 in this deck. Denko sekka is usually way better going 2nd. I usually choose to go 2nd in the stun matchups because I side cards such as Denko and evenly matched. Natasha is definitely a lot better if you’re relying on your engine to break boards, but I play a lot of non engine cards, which usually mitigates my opponent’s ability to setup too much of an oppressive board, and the drytron engine can usually play very well into weaker boards and break them with ease with the big drytron rituals and Zeus.

@@Goku-zu3rk We need more. And I agree to it. But that does not mean that we need to increase the number of brick into the deck... Multiple drytron in hand are not useless, you can use them for reborn other or just at rituals material. Two drytron nova that you can search is useless in the hand. Even if we need more, don't forget that a correct hand in drytron only need two of them, so you can deal with up to 4 brick. Which is huge for a deck like this one that play already a lot of them. No need to had more...

@@b.gabriel7621 then just use Where Arf Thou? and Jack in the Hand and add Droll while you are at it. Then you have for searchers for your names each 2 times in your deck.

This will give you 4 different searchers for drytron names with "Where Arf Thou?" being not once per turn and being able to search for droll or crow to function as handtrap or to normal summon them to make Mu beta. You could run each of those at 2 and end up with 8 searcher if you wish to.

You cannot conduct any kind of summons after resolving millennium ankh.

@SonFtw_ I'm confused on why they decided this. You either play generic extra deck monsters strategies available to most competitive decks or you play exodia fusion and hope they don't remove it?

@@feynman12it’s only for the rest of the turn. So you conduct all your summons and then last thing you do for the turn is use Ankh.

I always went 2nd with the deck and I drew 1 piece most of the time, sometimes I drew 2. You can solve that issue by just playing a higher deck count so you decrease your chances of drawing multiple bricks.

The way I play the deck, I never need it in the main deck. I played tons of matches with it in my deck, and it hardly ever came up most of the time. It was a card I never wanted to draw and just would rather it be something else. It contributes to nothing I’m trying to do, it’s just a brick most of the time. However, if you really want to maindeck it, you can play my list and just go to 43 and play Natasha. I’d just rather have it on the side deck.

I do think Natasha is better if you’re playing a strategy where you’re playing less non engine and mainly relying on your engine to break boards. Natasha definitely shines when it comes to breaking boards and going for OTKs. But in my version, since I’m playing a lot of non engine cards, I usually get into more grind games, so a lot of the time when I go 2nd, I usually try to break my opponent's board with the big drytron rituals or Zeus, and then I try to establish vanity’s ruler afterwards and try to take over the game from there.

I played 7 rounds total. In Swiss I played against 1 voiceless voice, 1 purrely, 1 runick stun, 1 snake eye, and 1 tenpai, which was my only loss in Swiss. In the top 8, I played against Snake Eye, and in the top 4, I lost to the same tenpai player I lost to in Swiss.

​@@averagegamer578 3 Dinomorphia Therizia, 3 Dinomorphia Frenzy, 3 Fossil Dig. Extra deck 2 Dinomorphia Rexterm and 2 Dinomorphia Stealthbergia. You can remove the fossil digs and lower the count of the extra deck monsters to only one each, i just like keeping it that way for consistency going first.

Worst case scenario they are fuel, best case they make you win. My deck has no bricks. They can also be used from hand as wedju temple cards to get engine running.

The Yubel matchup is just very bad because of how this deck is with having to pay life points and such. Honestly, the Snake Eye deck and the Yubel deck are just better than this deck in every way possible, so it’s not easy to consistently beat those decks. You just have to play really well, get lucky, and draw the right non engine cards and use them properly.

@@SonFtw_ I haven't played yubel yet, but I'm sure u can droplets then otk. Or chalice, imperm, and win. Let me see what I can come up with.

I don't take that personally, that’s a good question. But I play 17 non engine cards, and if you draw them in combination and use them properly, you can usually win games. Also, games 2 and 3 matter a lot more than game 1 because of side decking. Obviously, every game I play with this deck against Snake Eye and Yubel is an uphill battle, but I tend to think that I play pretty optimally, know how to use my interactions, and know how to play my deck at a pretty high level. This deck is by no means that great or anywhere near the level of Snake Eye or Yubel, but knowing how to play properly and knowing the meta goes a long way.

You play power spells to break those, dark hole Raigeki lightning storm etc or power cards like evenly. But I don't agree with the nib at all unless I'm playing dark hole

Yes and sometimes you can setup apollousa with the Kashtira engine before you start playing with the punk engine.

Well, not necessarily. If you open multiple engine cards, you can play through low impact hand traps pretty effectively. Obviously, if you only draw 1 engine card and it gets hand trapped, that’ll make you end your turn, but that’s also the case with any deck when you only draw 1 engine card. Also, you can't always expect your combo to fully resolve, you need to be able to sequence your plays properly and bait your opponent into using hand traps so you can still set up some interruptions.

@@bryanhila2780 u can use cross out, I run 3 for various reasons Ash, droplets, drnm, nibiru, I try to stop my opponent from stopping me or negate their droplets or drnm forcing them to have to play through my board plus hand traps.

If u run the Horus engine, droplets can be good too. U can send them with droplets to break the board, and bring them back from the gy and so on.

My matchups were 3 Tenpi, 1 Voiceless Voice, 1 Melodious, 1 Branded, and 1 Snake eye.

You can replace thrust with more copies of evenly, dark ruler, or any other going 2nd card of your choice.

From my experience, no it doesn’t help with that. But keep grinding lil bro.

There was nothing in the extra deck I was willing to cut for Typhon, and it never came up for me.

I’m still testing different cards in the deck. I might test playing 1 crow to be able to search it off robina or swallows cowrie.

Well that’s true but u can’t play a lot of non engine in this deck because it hinders the consistency too much. Games 2 and 3 usually matter a lot more than game 1 with this deck and I’d rather just have the most consistent deck possible game 1 to be able to play and not brick which is the biggest issue with the deck. Also, u don’t need tons of non engine to play through interruptions going 2nd, if u have a good engine hand and play properly u can navigate through boards and break them. Obviously if ur opponent sets up a full fire board and they have 2-3 hand traps, u were never winning that game regardless.

Not really, everything worked well for me. If I were to play this deck again in the future, I may consider playing a bigger branded engine, like quem and branded lost.
