  • May is Celiac Disease Awareness Month. I wanted to share my story to help others know they are not alone if they are confused, lost, and or just don't know where to start with this disease. I reflect on my journey and think how serious it can be, but also see where I am now how I can live a good life with ease. I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL STORY.

Thanks for sharing, good on you for trusting your instincts to follow up & the more info shared the betterer. Just a heads up, not everyone has Gastro like symptoms, i was asymptomatic and discovered due to my Iron level which fell through the floor. Im sure ive had for most of my life and to get the neurological relief i did as soon as cut Gluten was absolutely amazing, best of luck with all your journeys!

Thank you for watching and sharing your family's experience! How are your daughter and husband feeling? I don't remember which genetic test I had, I'll have to look it up. It's so fascinating though that so many tests can find it!
