Great reaction! The live version of this song at Milton Keynes is even better. Live version has so much more energy and the way Freddie moves around is spectacular!
Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 and was comprised of: Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and pianist Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals John Deacon - Bass guitar “Fat Bottomed Girls” was released as a ‘Double A-side’ single with “Bicycle Race”. Freycddie's reference to "Get on your bikes and ride" is a reference to the song "Bicycle Race". If you decide to watch the video of "Bicycle Race", be warned, it is a bit risque. Queen included film clips of a naked bicycle race they put on with 60-plus naked models racing around Wimbley - ruclips.net/video/xt0V0_1MS0Q/видео.html. It was the first single from Queens' 1978 album, Jazz. As the name suggests, the song is about girls with large asses and just how pleasing they are to the band. Brian May wrote the song with Freddie in mind since he knew Freddie liked fat-bottomed "girls and boys".
it´s 1978, one year after we are the champions and we will rock you. the singers are freddie, brian the guitarist and roger the drummer. all also have solo songs within queen and solo projects.
This was a double A side single off the Jazz album. In fact somewhere there is a video of "Bicycle Race" with dozens of naked women riding bikes. The bike shop loaned them the bikes for free, until they heard about the video and had to pay for new seats.
When you get time check out... ("Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (Official Video Remastered) Over a billion views, you'll see why....Pay attention to the lyrics...it'll take you on an emotional roller coaster ride.
I once worked with a Brother that just loved big legged fat bottom women. I mean "LOVED" them! Since he was about 5' 4" and weighed about 150 lbs I asked him what the attraction was and he flashed a big toothy smile and said, "Bruh, I likes me somethin I can leans into."
Queen has had take song there there album because it's offensive in spite of the fact that song was reasledin 1978 i think apparently. Both queen and Freddie are legends respect and rest in peace Freddie
In my opinion it is 1 of the best songs of all time. Buy the CD and play it through even a half descent car or home audio system then try to tell me differently. Regards, Jas. VK4FJGS Rocky Qld.
I'm an old guy and have loved music always. And I'll say this. Queen is the only band that truly rivals the Beatles.
Queen is a major band. This one is a bit light-hearted but they have many great hits.
Sorry. I thought at first you were not familiar with Queen.
As far as I'm concerned, this is their best. Just the title is enough for me to like it.

Its hard not to like this song. Get on your bikes and ride is a reference to their other song - bicycle race which also mentioned fat bottomed girls.

Freddie said it way before Sir Mix-a-Lot!!
🍑🍑♥️
Brian May wrote this song. The heavy driving bass was John Deacon, and the singing drummer is Roger Taylor
I was never Queen's biggest fan,but the day/week? after Freddie died I said music will miss him ... How right was i???🏴
About the line 'Get on your bikes and ride'. The song was first released on a 45 record. On the other side of the record was their song Bicycle Race
This is from their "Jazz" album from 1978.
