At His Word

When you hear a bit of information, how do you determine whether to trust it or not? Well, it depends on the source. If the source of the information has proven themselves to be trustworthy, then you can trust it. If the source of the information is new, then you may need to look into it.
In John 5, we see Jesus meeting a royal official, whose son was very sick. When Jesus announced to this man that his son would live, it says that "he took him at his word." He believed what Jesus said and everything turned out just as Jesus said.
When Jesus says something, we can trust it too. He has always kept his promises. He still keeps those promises today!
