The Lions are legit contenders. I think it might take a few games but once the revamped secondary gets their communication down that could become a strength. The D-line is my only concern, especially on the edge because I'm in no way convinced Davenport is the answer and as much as I like "The Problem," he's not a three-down player out there. Maybe a bit more push in the middle will help. I'll be honest, Reader is a concern because he's coming off a second quad injury and it sounds like he's going to miss camp. My hope is that Wingo turns out to be one of the sleepers in the draft and can help McNeil push the pocket. Cominsky is another guy who has to return to form. That's a lot of maybe's and if's. But they have as good a roster as anyone in the league. They should be mentioned in most circles as SB contenders. And if they're not? Cool. This team thrives on disrespect and external doubts. They love being the underdog.

I was at the nfc championship game that play that bounced of vildors face they were going to call pi and when aiyuk caught the ref casually went over and picked up the flag super suspicious but regardless it was going to be first and goal. That play was the turning point in that game and was sick to my stomach when it happened

If the Lions do make it to the Super Bowl, I don’t necessarily care who we face, although I would find a lot of satisfaction in stopping the Chiefs from a threepeat.
