- Filmed in the Barton Hall at Cornell University, which was built in 1915 as a WW1 military training facility.
DAMN, I wasn't expecting original fixtures in here! The right side of the restroom consists of a bank of original 1915 Thomas Maddock & Sons pedestal urinals (don't know the model) plus 2 1930's "Standard" Madstone urinals (all back-spud) As for the toilets, it appears as all of them plus the valves got retrofitted in the early 50's, but at least with something rare. We have a handful of rare early 1950's Eljer Sanus toilets, and you can tell that the valves used to go straight into the wall and they didn't bother to repipe it. The Eljer toilets may also be from the 1951 remodel, just like the Santons in the women's room, but I can't be sure. Wonderful vintage bathroom here nevertheless! Наука
0:42 One of my favorite urinal flushes.
Interesting combination of urinals (and toilets)
Now those Thomas Maddock Urinals are total antiques.
My father attended a Catholic school in Detroit during the 1960s, that was built in 1906 and had all original fixtures, which included those style urinals.
Absolutely legendary and beyond amazing restroom! This is even older than Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California, which contains restroom fixtures from 1934 still surviving today!
The syphon on those urinals is so long and powerful, wow!
Those 2 madstones on the one end look modern compared to the rest. Absolute jackpot find here.
WOW AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably one of the rarest bathrooms on youtube.
Amazing toilets however, I seriously wished the original toilets were here otherwise it’d be perfection
This bathroom is extremely cool. Those urinals and the toilets r very amazing . I noticed the 2nd toilet has it's original toilet seat . I know some of the toilet seats in here r replaced more than once .
Only If That Game Commode Toilet (Bowl) Itself Is From The 1960s-1980s, Because The Specific Details Of That Church Brand Heart❤️-Shape(d) Game Commode Toilet Seat Just Scream-Out 1960s-1980s, While The Beneke 523s/527s (Just) Scream-Out 1990s-Y2K/(2000s).
OMFG!!!! WOW!!!!! What an EPIC restroom there!!!!
🚾
Wow! I've never seen so many Maddock Madstones in one bathroom! Amazing!
Nice restroom! But 5.5+ gallons is too excessive to flush a toilet or urinal. The urinals and toilets have very satisfying flushes
They used a ton of water in those days.
I think they use 3 gallons. That's the most amount of water pretty much every old urinal had used.
0:42 That Third urinal got a massive flush when that guy flushes it
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍AMAZING! 😀
WOW!!! What amazing urinals here! I wonder what those 1951 Eljer toilets replaced...
JACKPOT!!!!!!!! I love those Standard blowout urinals!!!!!! There’s two standard mad stones are probably replacements from the 30s The toilets are amazing!!!!!
SUPER AMAZING!!!!!!!!
I love those 1950s eljer sanus toilets.
They flush like crane santon toilets.
You hit the jackpot
You’ve struck gold sir! All the treasure!
Now THAT is what I call a jackpot! I'm just about speechless. I absolutely love giant old brick bathrooms. The echo in there is so cool, and with all those fixtures it's just awesome!
It's not a jackpot, it's a MOOONSTEEER JACKPOOOT! (See the arcade game Monster Drop)
Standard Madstone und Alt Eljer toiletten? Verdammt, dieser Ort ist beleuchtet!
Those look awesome! Why is one missing?
It's unfortunate that the Sanuses have bad flushes but at least they're still here
Not all of them have bad flushes
WOW OLD Urinals 1915 Toilets 1950? Want Old women.
old Woman J-mcd barred peoples old HOMES
Women old toilets 1951 see 486 video
Toilet and siphon urinal gold!!!! Plenty of urinals for a whole army to stand, pee, and fart! And plenty of toilets to take a dump in! Without having to have the plunger handy!
Cool
I found a side spud standard siacto in Pittsburgh
This is beyond amazing.
HOLY SHIT !!! THOSES ARE AMAZING.
WOW!!!
Wonder what those Eljer Sanuses replaced? Sad one of the urinals was removed.
They must have replaced some Maddock toilets with straight-piped valves
I always liked restrooms that were stacked (floor above) with exposed plumbing so u could see the pipes coming down from above. My middle school had that on first and second floor. Till the remodeled with water saver and drop ceilings
Agreed, except I don't actually know what is above this restroom. The only restrooms I've filmed that are stacked are in video 296,297, and iTROC 145
1:36 One urinal was missing
Originally 10 pedestal urinals (currently nine) & six toilets with just about everything unchanged save for the empty eighth going to the left/third going to the right urinal stall & fourth toilet stall's toilet seat replacement. All toilets, save for aforementioned fourth stall going to the left/third going to the right, have original black toilet seats.
Amazing for toilet fans everywhere, not for me, sadly.
Sadly, I hear someone that this restroom will be renovating and replace all the fixtures.
Why, these are antiques and there’s nothing wrong with these historical fixtures.
WOW!!! These are epimazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How the fuck do you get so lucky with these places?!?!?!
Idk man this was pure luck. 90% of buildings older than the 30’s usually don’t have original fixtures so I wasn’t even expecting these in the 1st place.
However, if anywhere you want to search for fixtures this old, your best bet would indeed be old, private universities that are rather large and have been established for a long time. Smaller and/or expensive colleges have a higher chance of having renovated buildings
Nice!!
Thomas Maddock Madstone Urinal
epic and awesome and amazing stuff
0:41 I swear I could poop and there and it could take it down in about 1.5 seconds
YOOOOO HOLY FUCK that's epic!
