Unsure of last song
Thank you
The last song is Lookinglasself.
One of the most underrated bands ever They could have been big as Deftones if they were on a right label and time period
They toured with Deftones back in the day. Deftones always bring good bands with them on tours.
I'm pissed they never blew up because this is real right here
Amen.......
Fuckin' A, dude!
I love Snapcase but I've listening to them for years and I can tell you that they could never have been as big as Deftones.
their album progression through unlearning shaped my life.
Same
Mine too
Caboose's lyrics are "life"
Such a classic
ps - tbh, track 4 'Harrison Bergeron' even shaped the first track on Refused's 'The shape of punk to come' 😅
jap!!! gamechanger!!!
I just started listening to Snapcase a whole bunch this past summer. Their songs about self discovery and positivity made them quickly become one of my favorite Hardcore bands of all time! I will be seeing them in Philly next year with strife and earth crisis, so I am regularly watching their live sets and counting down the days for when I finally get to see these guys live! Can’t wait
I bought tickets for them once at a Kroger that had a Ticketmaster. When I told the lady the name she repeated back "snapcakes?"ha!!
They will always be snapcakes to me
ahahaa, my friend used to call them "spacknase" :D
I saw Snapcase back in the late 90's and early 2000s. Now Daryl is my wife's boss and lives in my neighbourhood...weird world we live in.
Last I knew he was working as a mental health counselor in Buffalo.
I would love to see Snapcase.
He pumps your wife
48:10 Caboose
saw these guys in 97. the lookinglass song gave me chills.
38:20 Drain Me:
now drain my soul. erase the image.
retained, regained the lost internal damage.
and i can't face the feelings that overpower me.
this unconditional love leads me to my destiny.
Fuck yeah, bro! Amazing song! \m/
Just published this song and lyrics a few minutes ago ... much love from France .
I remember hearing Coagulate for the first time at like 11 years old and then listening to End Transmission on repeat for months after that. I proceeded to listen to all of their older albums after that and remember just being blown away by these guys. So much raw emotion and energy. I will forever love Snapcase.
Setlist?
Snapcase is one hell of a band. Breaking and Reaching is the best metallic hardcore/metalcore song ever! Congratulations from Brazil!
I remember going to Warped Tour in 2000 and I was watching Papa Roach and the singer said "make sure you stick around for Snapcase! They're my favorite band!" You hear Papa Roach nowadays and realize how much they strayed from the path.
38:24 For the old guys
my dude
Cali Takeover 96.. I was there 💪
Lookingglasself 🙏🏼🤘🏼
Thanks! It’s all great… but, I’m old. ;)
2015 to 2021. Crazy how so much can happen in such little time, and crazy how time flies in between
What a powerhouse performance! This was my first proper introduction to Snapcase. Props aplenty for this upload!
thanks a lot for uploading such high quality videos!! Snapcase has been a huge inspiration for me since 2001 but i never saw them live... it sucks that Jon Salemi was having guitar gear issues... besides that this show was amazing!
Sorry to hear that buddy. I've saw them like 10xs
So underrated .. Can't wait to see them in June in NYC.
Walked into the main stage at Warped in the late 90’s and these guys were fucking KILLING it. My buddy and I were hooked instantly. 🤘🏼
10 AM.....first time seeing this live anywhere....was expecting a little more out of it....just glad it made it into a setlist
Nice.
Still love this band ever since my friend let me borrow Looking Glass Self. Changed my life. This band and Sick Of It All will always be my favorite two bands.
Snapcase is the most underated band ever.
They are awesome. . I'm friends with Frank V the guitarist
Snapcase has about 70k monthly listeners on Spotify. Damnation AD has 1300 monthly. I’d argue the latter is much much more underrated.
@@jakeybball im talking from a 1999 point of view
How so? They’ve achieved amazing success for this genre.
@albert speer. This is a problem many comeback bands struggle for a while, bein out of practice more or less for several years growin older.. But many of em get the curve :)
Saw refused open up for them in 96. Saw AFI open for them with SOIA in 97. Shit was better back then.
Ikr the songs are too soft here, lack of energy
I wish we could get em in Charlotte. I was hooked when Steps came out.
I couldn't even tell you how many times I saw these guys play in upstate NY during the early 90's. Still one of my favorite bands. No one sounds like these guys. We need some new material!
The singer was my friend's high school guidance counsellor LOL
ilivewith13deadcats that is funny
Saw these guys on their looking glass self tour, I think they were on tour with Pro-pain or Leeway. Great band, still have their debut album signed by the band :D
lmao Pro-pain? sounds like Hank Hill's band.
@@taquitoxiq1444 likes pro pains first album. Kind löst track after that.
Snapcase changed my life.
Thank you so much for grabbing the feed from the board. Dude.
Steps EP & Lookingglasself album was my favorite.
The 1st show I saw: Snapcase, Quicksand, Deftones. 1998 La Luna, Portland
GOD I LOVE THE BASS TONE OF PUNK!
ESTA BANDA ES GENIAL, LLENA DE CONTENIDO, ABRE MENTES! OJALÁ ALGÚN DÍA VENGAN A ARGENTINA!
Chokehold OMFG I havnt herd that name since highschool 25 years ago, saw them tt the local church with Men at Work and New Day Rising.
Where's the "Skeptic"?
Skeptic wasn't played live
33:31 Zombie Prescription
this is what happens when you get old kids....I remember seeing them in 98 and it was the best set I've ever heard, hey either way it's still fuckn Darryl up there at pushing 50+ banging out an hour set! njhc 609
Sad but true. Saw them in DC with Earth Crisis in the summer of '97 and it was pure energy. Still, I'll take middle-aged Snapcase over no Snapcase any day.
When we caught them at warped, their stage presence was like 75% of the reason I looked them up on Napster the next day. Haha.
Hardcore is a young man's game.
Sooooooooo awesome that Snapcase made somewhat of a comeback! I remember back in 1993 or 1994 when they released "Looking Glass Self" and it was the greatest hardcore album I heard! I STILL have the original cd from when it came out back then. It has a million scratches on it and certain cd players wont play it but the cd player in my car still plays it and every single time I pop it in I have to pull over cause dancing/pitting doesn't really go over well with cops and other drivers! lmao! There isn't one dull moment in that whole album and I miss that so much with hardcore bands now a days. Their shows back in the mid-late 90's were so intense and crazy and kids didn't stop moving at all their entire set! So hard to find that in bands now and it fuckin sucks!
I've been in bands . The ones I believed in people died from drugs and suicide .I had my own problems for sure, but I want to get a band back in my life. Im 36 .
Didn't know Bryan Callen fronted a hardcore band
WRINKS!
@@playstationskate345 Legendary comments. No dents stay hardcore!
I had to watch the '99 show in St. Louis to scrub my brain of this memory.
Big old school hardcore band
Hardcore for life!!!!!
I need a Zombie Prescription please.
Saw the drummer at canisus college when I went on a field trip there a few months ago. Fuckin crazy honestly
yea but have you ever heard of Autoignition
Snapcase is legend
they never seem to play Dress Rehearsal live, huge song
Wow...how tight they are at this set. And there were no regular active band at this time. Unbelievable!
Circa 90's earth crisis victory years
if the crowd really knows what a privilege it is to see snapcase live in 2015 ??!!
They look half asleep lol
wish snapcase would come to albany
Has anybody the tracklist of this set?
I deeply love them, don't understand this slower tempo of the songs
Best Snapcase Song After 26:00 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man I went and saw Snapcase at the continental in Buffalo with Every Time I Die and Kid Gorgeous (final show) and it was sick but this crowd here looks asleep man. Pretty lame. Show Snapcase the respect it deserves.
and were is the girl`s??
evergreen legend...
Charlie Kelly on vocals! Holy shit
Not trying to sound "too cool" but I saw them with original demo lineup a few times in chicago. They even stood out back then. 1st singer was awesome
Aaah deep cut, liked them for a while but never knew there was a different singer.
Saw them in 1992 at some dudes garage show
i legit thought that was Bryan Callen on vocals for a sec. sick band tho! listened through the whole video twice in a day!
One of the best
By the time your band gets popular, you are starting to feel a little older than most of the people around you at shows. By the time you are writing your "later material" you are a bit older than the crowd at shows. That stage was 14 years ago he said. I'm getting old and it's great to see guys a generation ahead of me playing hardcore.
That being said, I play grindcore shows with guys who started in the early 80s so its not that crazy. Just... time man. Time. Its weird.
dope set.
Steps EP
I'm so glad I saw them back in the day. They rule.
@38:35 FLY FRREEE
song playing at 15:45?
New kata
Cause I can't feel what you feel...I'm afraid to see whats real
anemic crowd that doesn't deserve that moment. You fools don't know how lucky you were to be there.
Good lead 🎸 guitarrist.
"Anyone have to work tomorrow?" What the shit is that? Tired much...
very poor crowd. thats not a snapcase location. some guys in the moshpit don´t know anything about hardcore and the amazing and caring spirit of it. I can only see some selfish psychotic idiots that love the aggression and want to hurt others. No wonder, no one of the rest is really enyojng the gig, the band doesn´t either, it seems.
Right you are. For as violent as some of those pits were (I'm looking at you, Neglect), we always took care of each other. Sure there were always meat heads at those shows, but the number of decent HC kids always dwarfed them. Doesn't appear to be that way anymore.
Nah man, Union Transfer is a great venue.
? I have no idea what you're talking about. What do you want, head nodding at the community center? Maybe you only go to hardcore shows for the "message" or something but I don't see anything crazy going on here.
True. It's evident that you have so many people there and so few willing to be near the stage or engage with the band.
Yeah you hit it I'm so tired of it.. I always have this problem people mashing or Slam Dancing that don't seem to get the role and community of it.. simple things like blocking off when somebody drops their glasses are there hat helping somebody back up the f****** basics... when that many people can't get that close to a stage it infuriates me.. my big other pet peeve is people just ramming into the circle of the crowd we didn't come here to be your punching bag quick needs to their kidney and polite chill out usually works but we should never have to have that conversation in a hardcore scene
wow whats wrong with the crowd? I would have been moshpiting my brains out best hc band live, awesome, hahaha that fancy girl in the back is having more fun than all, good for her :)
22:30 super weak. Strongest point and dropped the effort. :(
Sand in vagina
sound is so out of space.. brilliant
opening w that jam?
wooooooooahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so good only saw then in 2001
Ten AM, what a song

Fuck I'm old. I remember seeing these guys when I was 14 I'm 35 now. They still kick ass
Young spirit, with 37 years a person isn't old 🧓, that is a wrong idea 💡, a poison ☠ idea.
4:03 KIM KARDASHIAN!
Wow 😳 superb
Setlist
Is that Timmy Redmond on the skins?
yep.
I'd have to say highly doubtful, because the snare drum isn't tuned to it's maximum tightness,Tim likes his snare drums to pop and crack. piccolo's or bust
nah, Billy Rymer.
Nope. Upon closer look, that’s Timmy. I went to college with him.
The bassist is my dad’s brother’s sister
The lead singer is dressed like he came from his in laws.
Ahhhh sure he should of looked liked the typical singers from hardcore bands , wearing shorts and having lots of shitty tatoos ....
Yeah so, It's just clothes, what's your point?
looks sharp, it makes em even better ha
Buffalo legends
Barefeet in the Moshpit ? Sure.
Ew. 😂
John salemi lives right around the corner from me haha
power
A slow version of their songs wtf, lack of energy, disapointing show
I’ve seen livelier crowds at insurance seminars. Crowd should be fucking embarrassed not showing up for these legends.
Snapcase it's bullseye
There last record they went too far and changed their sound, lost their fans and the band ended
were is the girls?
And yeah watching footage two different guys in two different black shirts punching people in the back of their heads give me a break when you're dancing you know where you are least you better.. you know you shouldn't be slugging anybody from your scene it's not supposed to be any other way go back to metal for that s***
The most “Mailed-In” performance I’ve ever seen. Sheeeeesh.
I have no idea who this band is
in my birthday :)
Legen..
