Good advice! We have been there on warmer years- so be prepared that it can be warm (or like this year cold.)

It will look great on you. I would buy it beforehand from one of the British makers. Much better price and similar quality.
Augustiner-Bräu is my favorite beer as well and I love their Brewery! I've not had a chance yet to check out all the beer gardens in the Englischer Garten yet but those look pretty amazing as well. I would also warn folks about drinking water in a tent will cost the same as a beer!
It is pricey. We popped in and out for water and some snacks. Good excuse to sober up a little too. Cheers brother.
Augustiner was our favorite tent followed VERY close by Hacker- Pschor
Half the people there are in normal clothes i think they dislike the fake clothing either get traditional clothing or just reg stuff i love how friendly everyone is.

The public transportation system is AMAZING, and you don't need a car no matter where you go.
