My poor girlfriend gets soo overwhelmed on top of dealing with her c section pain with hems and post partum depression, i have to be the one to keep us calm and make sure we get through it safely.
I forgot that I can sleep on my tummy now😆😆

He sleeps better through the day, and I sleep when he does. sometimes he sleeps ok at night, while other nights he's up for 4 hours at a time. During the day I hold him, and take in all the cuddles. Dad is more stressed than I am, being our first child, but I have experience with newborns, and he doesn't. He's doing great though. I started antidepressants right away to avoid postpartum depression with my history of depression over the last 10 years. Bleeding has been very light, almost stopped, and there's no pain with my stitches (vaginal, minimal tearing) I've lost 30lbs, and almost fit into my jeans comfortably. Lack of sleep is worth it, I love my baby boy with all my heart

First time mom here & I had my son 2 weeks & 4 days ago. 😊 It’s been rough but Thank God my mom has been helping me so I can get some sleep. I definitely had my first mental breakdown in the first week & it wasn’t pretty.

@@FF-fd4tm It’s so much better now that he’s 2. He still whines a lot & he gets into everything but overall I like the toddler stage more than the baby stage by far. 😂 I’m able to sleep through the night unless he’s sick. I still battle PP depression on and off but it will get better I promise you, Goodluck to you mama. 💕

I was changing my baby yesterday, he hates being changed he cries sooo loud it actually hurts 😩 so I cried too. It didn't stop him from crying but I felt better 🙏🚶🚶

This is my second week with my daughter, she is not extremely fussy every night is different depending on how bad her tummy gripe is. I found that swaddling her helps with the tummy gripe as well as helping her sleep better, I have to be extra careful swaddling though because we live in the Caribbean and it is already very hot.
Finally, I am happy that Chunnel Mum also has baby weekly development ☺️

Baby is 2wwwks and seems more alert, eyes open and looks at me a lot :) days go by quick . She doesn’t like to be put down though she always wants to be in my arms I can’t do much in a day coz of this🙆🏽♀️

Hmm, maybe having someone talk about how they fit back into their skinny girl jeans two days after birth isn't the biggest motivator in feeling good about oneself a couple weeks after birth.

Make sure you burp baby after every feeding. Lather baby bottom with coconut oil every change

@@ayierasheryl7214 I'm in week 2 now , so still early days . I had constipation, lack of sleep and limited support and felt obliged to feed and clean my baby , as opposed to doing it out of love . It's been hard , but I hope it will get better
@@stoutemeisie1 I can imagine and sometimes you totally feel obliged as compared to doing it cos you want to and it’s fine you’re just human. It’s tough I also still have those days but it gets better I promise. The more your bub will grow and start smiling at you and hitting milestones you’ll know it’s worth all the trouble. My bub is now a big 10 months old and has started walking and I am glad I persevered and funny thing I ocassionally miss his newborn days😂. Go easy on yourself and try to enjoy now cos it will pass very fast before you know it.

@@latishiawilliams6085 My little baby girl had a 4 oz bottle after 6 days... Now at just over two weeks she's gained too much weight so the midwife told us to slow it down, but then we have a very unhappy baby.
My baby now is 2weeks and I don't know why she's always crying & sometimes shocking. I can't sleep good.Sad! Nipple pain 🙃 Even she's full & dry pampers but I don't know the reason why she's crying.I'm here living IN uae. My husband not always be sides me coz he's working far. My baby just want to be in my lap she starts crying when I put her down. I have back ache and sleepless days and nights
Look for a tight swaddle and basically hold and rock her until she falls asleep, wait 20 30 min more then put her down. Works for me right now at 2 weeks.

My little one is now two weeks old and is having lots of trouble with wind even while being breast fed. Ive lost count of the number of nights when I’ll end up wearing an hours worth of feeding. 😭😭😭
