She has another song from this same set that is really cool. The dark dresses lightly. Really shows what she can do with her voice. Please check it out. Totally worth it!
Never has an artist moved my emotions like Aurora she is simply in a class of her own.The pure essence of what the art of music should be all about.GENIUS ❤️😜
The clarity of her voice never ceases to amaze me. I saw Aurora at the end of November, and it was truly life changing. She is everything we have always thought she was, and more. It's truly incredible to realize she's a real person, and to share space and time with her. The show I was at was 5000 people, and it was the most intimate experience I've ever had at a show. Not only with Aurora, but her fans, too. I will say that the childlike quality has left her voice a bit, and her singing voice is deeper, but it's still so pure and ethereal. She really has matured so gracefully. Artistically and as a woman. She's a clever creature.
Aurora is on a journey with her spiritual music always challenging us - always challenging our mind and reminding us that we are all special and have an obligation to love and preserve. In my mind many of her songs tell me to do no harm but be considerate. With so much evil in the world, her songs are healing.
Great reaction to this beautiful melancholy song, Aurora reigns supreme in every aspect of artistry and humanity, no ones does melancholy like Aurora, thanks
Leonard Cohen and his story telling was a big inspiration for Aurora, and she has done several Cohen covers like you heard: Famous Blue Raincoat, So Long Marianne and also The Partisan, and his song Suzanne is one of her favorites. In her song Exist For Love she has 2 lines inspired from his songs Suzanne and There Is A War, and this latest album of hers, where Dreams is on, is called "What Happened To The Heart". Aurora has not mentioned this, but it might be inspired by Cohen's song "Happens To The Heart", where he sings "What Happens To The Heart". Aurora also mentioned in an article in May 2024, that she knew Marianne Ihlen, Cohen's Norwegian lover, who the song So Long Marianne is about: "She was from the same village as my grandparents. She was so beautiful." She did another live performance recently in this same Curved venue "(When) The Dark Dresses Lightly", and is completely different from Dreams, very high energy, high tempo and loud, but amazing as well.
She has a very special way of seeing the world. That she can express that through her performance is stunning, we are so lucky. I understand the remarks about the spirituality, I feel it too.
Yea, she is amazing from the very start, up to now. She has so many great songs with a lot of various sounds and styles... She also has her own unique style, very unique. I love her music. This song is one of my top favorites from the last album. Thx for a reaction! Ps. Totally agree with Cohen vibe, it was my first impression.
Yes! Very much Leonard Cohen. Aurora is magic...brings Cohen back for a while. I just love this amazing human. Sombody said that Aurora is so pure and innocent i feel guilty when she sings. Thank you guys. Cheers from a finn in Sweden.
It stuns me every time just how good Aurora is. A beautiful performance and a big shout out to Amalie and Thea on backing vocals and Fedrik for the immaculate guitar ...
What a little surprise. I missed you guys reacting to Aurora. I'm a bit sad with how the copyright issues have affected you. Hopefully, this one will stick around. If you're interested, I would recommend listening to When The Dark Dresses Lightly. It's on the same set and equally amazing. Cheers! ❤
Dont worry about being wierd, all us warriors and weirdos understand perfectly 😂 Leonard Cohen is Auroras biggest heros, here is what she wrote after he died: I know many of you share my sorrow. Today time has once again taken a beautiful mind away from us. It's strange how it stings in my chest. It's strange how we are reminded that even our heroes will have to leave this planet one day. We were all touched by his words. Every letter carved into our hearts making them even more beautiful. In a thousand ways time can't fully take him away from us. Because what he gave us has no end. Music and words like these cannot die. Because I know they will never be forgotten. We take them with us, we tell them to our children. We wrap them carefully inside little notes and sleep on them and night. In a way I can't help feeling he walked away with death as an old friend. Side by side, with a promise that his music will never follow them. Cause his words are needed by the living. Thank you Leonard Cohen, for teaching me so many things. For reminding me of home and my mother when I travel. For reminding me of so much beauty. For everything. And you want to travel with him And you want to travel blind Cause you know that you can trust him Cause he touched your perfect body With his mind.
Hi lovely couple, Aurora reminds me of Kate Bush, I first heard Aurora in a John Lewis advert singing a beautiful song about a little girl trying to send a present to the lonely man on the moon xx
OMG...it's the Redhaired Beauty and the Magnificent Bearded Gent.......with Aurora. And yes...this is one of the most beautiful songs everr.......and I'm so lucky....I was able to see her live last November and this song is a mind blower....... Aurora is definitely the Best of the best ever. Always good to see you guys......and you made my day......txs for posting
Thanks for this🥰 I love all the songs on her latest album, but this is my favourite, it’s just so incredibly beautiful😍😍 I highly recommend “The dark dresses lightly” also live at Amazon music curved Or something quite different: “My body is not mine” Warriors version Aurora asked her fans to send her some video clips for this song, and this video was made🤘
Wonderful reaction! I agree that she's better than ever, but like you, I also loved her young voice. If anything, I was afraid she'd lose something magical as she matured, rather than thinking that her voice sounded too immature.
06:15 "Huge Leonard Cohen vibes". She did an excellent version of "Famous blue raincoat" some years back (a at Norwegian memorial concert for Leonard). Don´t think you guys have done it.... ?
Hey Ginger and Mike- if u have interest, there is an amazing family band out of the Philippines called Missioned Souls of kids aged 11-16 that r crushing it. Check them out!! Happy New Year

Beautiful but intangible, earthy yet ethereal. She embodies the union of opposites. Truly spiritual!
