From Mudflats to Smart Nation

We are celebrating Singapore’s 58th birthday and commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of Singapore’s founding prime minister, Lee Kuan Yew, who was critical to Singapore's success with a short film titled “From Mudflats to Smart Nation”.
The film charts Singapore’s journey to becoming a global economic powerhouse through the lens of the telecommunications industry. For the first time, catch Singtel’s executives GCEO, Yuen Kuan Moon, GCFO, Arthur Lang, CEO of NCS, Ng Kuo Pin, former Chairman and CEO of the National Computer Board, Lim Swee Say, and Deputy CEO AIS and former Singtel GCTO, Mark Chong, share insights on how telecommunications played a pivotal role in supporting Singapore's economic ambitions.
Singapore is now on the cusp of mainstream 5G adoption and a testbed for the latest emerging technologies, which positions it to drive greater innovation and economic growth. We will continue investing in the latest technologies to offer the best experience and transformational services to customers and give Singapore a competitive edge.

Hi, ....Our young LKY looked and spoke so differently then in the 60s+....he was a true great leader for Singapore.... I felt so fortunate that I grown-up during the period that Singapore's economy was growing at a double-digits growth rate for almost 3 decades from the 70+ all the way to the Millennium era..... I enjoyed my whole working life.... and witnessed the transformation of the old and poorer city state to a clearer, modern and vibrant state of today...
