Figured I'd write this here in case someone needs it. Be careful heating this guy, especially around his backside where the weapon loop is. Those ropes are firm initially, but if you aren't careful like I was, one of the rope knots will snap and it's pretty much divine work to get the knot back on. Least with the tools I'm limited to for now. I'm getting Unarmored in a few weeks just to complete the set out, and BigBad consistently has these two on sale for some reason--guess they understand how convoluted the accessory completion here is. Recently subbed and I really enjoy your lore dumps. Makes the figure more interesting to pursue overall. Godspeed

I just went to take a look. On The page before he hits the ground, him and the giant robot crash through the window. He’s holding the broken sword. On the page before that he stabs the sword into the giant robot, but they never show the full sword so you could say maybe he stabbed the full sword into the robot and it broke as they were smashing through the window, but they didn’t make a point to indicate that so I still think he was always supposed to have the broken sword. Thanks for responding!
@@razrentals8897 In issue 1, Mikey has the unbroken sword on the panel where he says, “Strike hard. Fade away.”. This is where we first see him use the sword.
The staff is too long. In the comic the end of the staff hits his butt. So I just used the toon donatello staff because the colors are more accurate aswell.
Great review! I was able to get his tonfa through the hoop you had his nunchaku in. I’ve extreme posed and photographed Ronin plenty and no issues so far, but I have a spare just in case.
I put the tonfa in using the handle. it’s easier and I like how it looks. Handle facing up, coming through the bottom side of the loop. Also, I think he should’ve came with 2 of those things, like in the comic… but I guess the un armored version will have one too. Will also be nice to have 2 of the weapons that way, although one sword will be broken.
I would love that. Zulli’s turtles were amazing! I remember awhile back when Peter Laird still owned the Turtles he put out Soul’s Winter in a trade paperback to help Zulli out. I can’t remember if he as sick at the time. If he still needs some help it’d be great if they paid him to do some box art!
Great job here. Didn't enjoy the book, loved the premise (nothing new, but still) and Splinter behaved stupidly for the sake of the story. Digging the action figures though, especially the topless version.

I thought that jumping onto this video was my best chance of advice about pizza face and that the green knife Variant is much more common in the UK then the American version.

I think the sword broke after he fell at the end of issue 1.

@@razrentals8897 No, I just carefully fed it through. I feel like warming it could make it prone to tearing due to the tonfa’s sharp edges.
