Does this plugin work with the source table window closed? In other words, could I automate the data flow into a google sheet from a table without that window being open or my computer being on?
Hi George, great Plugin! Due to several reasons, I unfortunately cannot use Google Sheets for a certain task, but I'd love to have some sort of “Sync” like you show in the video. I could use Office 365 Excel instead of Google Sheets. Is that somehow possible? And if yes - Where does the “cloud-service” for the sync process live? Is there a direct sync from my local machine directly to Google sheets and “Cloud-Sync” just sounds fancier, or is there an actual cloud service orchestrating the sync process between the table and Google Sheets, when an update in the data table occurs?

To answer your questions: - The "cloud" is a mix of on your device and the actual cloud (I use GCP - Google Cloud Platform for my backend). - For this feature, it's actually just using the Google Sheets API in your browser to directly write to Google Sheets. This means that if you close the tab, the sync stops. - Doing something similar with Office 365 is definitely possible. Please reach out if you'd like to beta test!
